1) A victory for the good guys. Berkeley, CA’s “Right to Know law”, which requires stores that sell cell phones to display info re. cell phone usage, has been upheld by the Appeal Court. The cell phone industry had asked for an injunction of the law. The only dissenter was the wife of a major player in the telecom industry.

2) Italy sets a precedent. A major court decision in Italy based there being a causal link between cell phone and tumor. Prior to this, in Italy there was a lawsuit that led the way, even if it was not successful.
“A longtime Telecom Italia employee has been awarded monthly social security payments after a court found that his brain tumor was caused by improper use of a company-issued cellphone.
Lawyer Stefano Bertone said Thursday that it was the first trial court verdict of which he was aware in the world “to recognize a link between cellphone use and the development of brain tumor.
Bertone said one factor that appeared to have contributed to the verdict was the refusal by the court’s expert to accept into evidence studies that were funded by the telecom industry…
Bertone said that a 2012 decision by Italy’s highest court awarding social security payments to a sales manager who was on a cellphone five or six hours a day helped paved the way for the ruling in his client’s case. In the earlier case, the trial court denied the claim, but Italy’s highest court accepted a link between excessive cell phone use and the manager’s tumor.”

4) In a local Letter to the Editor, an IT person in Illinois speaks to electrosmog and the increase in RF levels since installation of smeters. A concerning comment.

5) Below is a comment put on our website by someone who is sensitive. She says she knows of 9 teachers who are suffering from EHS. There are teachers in our group who cannot work, who are disabled, because they cannot tolerate Wi-Fi. Some teachers wanted accommodation when there were schools without Wi-Fi – good teachers who wanted to work were refused transfers. It would be an admission that something was wrong.
I am sure that there are many other teachers and people in other Wi-Fi-filled environments who are struggling to work, and don’t know that it’s the Wi-Fi that is making them ill. How can we reach them? And what about the children?

Hello
I see that you are going to go after BC Hydro and try to get them back on track. What I would like to know is what you are going to do about the other problems with BC Hydro. Such as the smart meter program. All over the US, the smart meter program is in the courts and that opponents to it are winning. Government is starting to see the problems with this program and what it is doing to people’s health and safety. Cases that have been settled include a person does not have to have a smart meter put on their house ever and that legacy fees are either dropped to very low amount or are being stopped entirely. The analogue meters are still being made and being sold, BC Hydro says they are not available any more. I beg you to put a stop to this program as it is dangerous to our health, privacy, and the homes that we live in. Also, the legacy fee we pay of $32.40 per month is the highest in North America. Meter readers are paid .34 a meter to read. What Clark and her government have done to this province with this program is criminal.
Will you shut down Site C? I am sure hoping you do, as we don’t need it and why should people have their lands expropriated for a useless pile of concrete?
The BCUC has basically got a gag order on it due to Direction 4 of the Clean Energy Act. We all need you to rescind that directive and get the BCUC back to doing its job. The Liberals had no legal right to put this gag order on them as they are a body separate from government and by doing this, the Liberals broke the law.
Will you do these things and protect the citizens of this province from loss of life and home from smart meter fires, help people who have developed electromagnetic hypersensitivity from the meters and other EMF’s flying around. Shut down Site C and give those citizens back their land and, above all, remove the gag from the BCUC.
I have always voted Social Credit, back in the day, and Liberal but if you will promise to do these things above, I will be voting NDP for sure.

I have been diagnosed with the EHS disability. (Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity)
The EHS disability is recognized by the Canadian Human Rights Commission.
There are so many public places that are no longer accessible to me because of pervasive WiFi exposures in public places (grocery stores, libraries, museums, restaurants, buses, trains, planes).
I know of teachers from 9 Districts in Ontario and across Canada who are now suffering from “microwave radiation sickness” from this indiscriminate electromagnetic radiation which is interfering with the electromagnetic fields in their heart or brain. Symptoms include heart arrhythmia, intolerable migraines (lasting for hours or days depending upon exposures).
WiFi is RF radiation in the microwave range. Microwave radiation is cumulative, and I hear of others who are becoming sensitive.
I understand that person’s ability to tolerate these microwave signals depends upon in combination, the age at which they are exposed, signal strength, duration of exposure, proximity to the signals, the number of cumulative exposures, history of other toxic exposures, and genetic variances. People living with Lyme’s Disease and immune issues are also more susceptible to microwave radiation signals.
I love the outdoors, downhill skiing, roller blading, sailing, etc. WiFi signals have become intolerable to me.
PLEASE KEEP WiFi OUT OF PARKS, SO PEOPLE YOUNG AND OLD CAN HEAL FROM THESE PERVASIVE SIGNALS IN PUBLIC.
This environmental sensitivity makes it very difficult for EHS disabled people to participate fully in public places.
EHS disabled people need public places which are accessible to them. Parks, beaches and forest areas are very important places which are currently accessible to EHS disabled people. PLEASE KEEP WiFi OUT OF PARKS, FORESTS AND BEACH AREAS FOR EHS DISABLED PEOPLE. This will also promote health for young (vulnerable) and elderly populations who are, as Health Canada says, “More susceptible to environmental agents”.
