I am writing to ask you to join with the growing number of MPs from all parties (over 50 to date) who have come together to work for better protection of the health and well being of Canadians by supporting Bill C-648 “Warning Labels for Radio Apparatus” (wireless devices) introduced by Terence Young.
This Bill will mandate that warnings currently buried in the fine print be clearly labeled on all wireless devices, so that consumers may know more about the health risks. As a constituent who is working as a volunteer with others in our community, and with C4ST nationally, I would be very pleased if you would allow C4ST to list your name in support.

Dear Mr. Rankin,
First, thank you for the great editorial piece in today’s Times Colonist in response to Mr. Harper’s Bill C-51. I hope that your voice of reason along with countless others can keep this government from once again over reacting and abusing their “majority”!
I know you are very busy and have many issues to navigate but in checking the list of MPs who have agreed to support Terence Young’s Bill C-648, I see that as of today, your name is not listed at http://c4st.org/PMB May I ask why it isn’t?
This is a non-partisan issue, with support from every party, including the NDP. I assure you that there are 1000s of reports from independent world renowned scientists and letters from researchers who have devoted their lives to this area. No one can tell you that RF radiation from wireless devices is safe.
Shouldn’t the public have a right to know that a device they are using 24/7, wearing, and allowing their children to play with has the potential to harm them? That is all this bill is proposing.
Please see below for what is happening in other countries who have realized action must be taken so a public health crisis can be averted. As you can see this issue is larger than just cell phones and it is imperative that our Safety Code 6 be updated to reflect those of the 14 countries listed below!
