- BC Hydro is doing everything in its power to get smeters on homes. One woman calls this what it is – A MONSTER!!

- It’s time that politicians and medical officers get involved with the issue of proliferation of electrosmog. $$meters are the epitome of radiation-emitting devices – being forcefully installed on our homes, emitting 24/7/365 – no way to escape or mitigate without suffering the penalties handed out by a mobster government and BC Hydro.

Subject: EMF
Tom,
I will be happy to receive more updates from your federal wing when I see some interest from the NDP in the “smart meter”/EMF debate. I’m aware of the division of responsibilities that places our provincial [BC] electricity generation in the bailiwick of the Lying “Liberals”/BCUC, but electro-magnetic radiation safety standards are the responsibility of the federal government and our standards are woefully sub-standard when one compares Canada’s tolerance for magnetic risk with that of other countries.
I challenge all Parties to be clear on where they stand on the issue of the rapidly expanding EMF threat to human health and make a commitment to the precautionary principle approach to revised Canadian standards in line with latest research findings.
Giving parents vague advice regarding the management and limitation of their children’s use of wi fi devices [as the Canadian government has done] is hardly the mark of a government committed to science, stewardship, public health, safety and privacy.
What a shame that Canadians should have to envy the safety regulations of Russia and China.
