But now French Aviation Authorities are worried about 5G phones interfering with onboard equipment. Still, the governments are set on selling spectrum in these ranges for business reasons. What about safety?

5G phones may interfere with aircraft: French regulator
“The latest generation of smartphones, 5G, can interfere with aircraft altitude instruments, the French Civil Aviation Authority warned Tuesday as it recommended they should be turned off during flight.
“The utilisation of 5G devices onboard aircraft could lead to risks of interference that could potentially result in errors in altitude readings,” a spokesman for the agency told AFP.”

2) Infertility is a problem with more and more couples having to resort to IVF and other means to have children. This book documents the decline in male fertility and provides some probable causes but does not include a major one — exposure to EMR. There are studies showing effects on sperm, fewer, weaker or deformed ones.

3) The Green Party of California is asking for immediate precautionary actions including studies showing effects of 5G and a halt on satellites until studies show how they affect health, climate, etc. A strong statement that our political parties, not just the Green Party, should support.

It was suggested I send all of you copies of my letter to Qualicum Beach Council and administrators, regarding aviation concerns pertaining to the proposed Telus cell tower, that will be at least 45 meters high, and have very strong frequencies, for your attention.
While I have been concerned about the dangers, recently I found an article in Bloomberg News, expressing concern about aviation safety being compromised by cell towers, especially 5G. Todd Provost, the Airport Liaison, was then able to locate more details from Transport Canada, confirming this concern and expanding on the Bloomberg article.
Unless we are confident about the safety, this tower should not proceed. (Please note that Telus’ industry-based “information” is seriously out of date, and is mostly irrelevant. Information from sources other than Telus, who will profit from the tower, etc., must be considered. Telus’ credibility should be questioned, instead of being accepted at will.)

RE: AVIATION CONCERNS PERTAINING TO THE PROPOSED TELUS CELL TOWER
If you have been reading my letters, you know that I have raised this issue with you, before. Now that Transport Canada has expressed great concern, I hope you will pay attention.
The proposed tower/5G presents significant risks to aviation safety. It is now clear that 5G can adversely affect navigation technology. Also, the emissions from cell towers appear to cause heart arrhythmias, heart attacks and strokes. More and more cardiologists are recognizing this concern.
Should a plane and/or pilot become disabled over Qualicum Beach, residents and property may be seriously impacted, of course. The liability costs will be the Town of Qualicum Beach’s responsibility. If insurance does not cover these expenses (and many insurance companies do not), the property tax-payers may be held liable.
Have you heard of the “Precautionary Principle”? Briefly, it means in this case, that unless we are certain that the tower and its emissions will be completely safe, the tower should not go ahead. Please Google it, for a more detailed explanation.
Please be courageous, intelligent and wise. Investigate this issue better, and look for information that is current, reliable, accurate, and independent of the telecoms. (The information Telus has given you is out of date, and should not be considered for making a non-biased decision. Should you wish more information, that is up to date, please let me know.)
In closing, again, I respectfully ask that you do not allow this tower to be installed.
