2019-03-18 US Hwy. Admin. wants to mandate radar in cars

1)  An interesting hypothesis, that humans can detect the Earth’s magnetic field Wonder what this might mean when considering health effects from exposure to stronger fields.

Pole position: human body might be able to pick up Earth’s magnetic field

“One possible system that has has been mooted for other animals, particularly birds, is a “quantum compass” based on molecules with unpaired electrons that respond to Earth’s magnetic field. This would allow an animal to tell whether they are moving towards a pole or the equator, but not whether they are headed north or south.

But authors say the new research suggests the human system can tell north from south, supporting an alternative mechanism involving special cells containing iron-based crystals. These crystals are thought to rotate rather like the needle of a compass, opening or closing pores in the cells, thereby affecting signals being sent to the brain.”

2)  The US National Highway Traffic Safety Admin. is pushing to have mandated radar in all new cars!! As if driving with all the wireless devices already in new cars (Wi-Fi, Blutooth, iPad, etc,) isn’t enough, radar will make being in a car even more like being in a Faraday cage. And look at the false info they are promoting — I’ve included only one of several below.

We need to get involved here in Canada and support the US groups fighting this.  Please consider commenting at the site given below.

Stop radar in cars!

”…The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is proposing to mandate radar (called V2V technology) in all new cars and light trucks.

The stated purpose of the V2V is to improve driving safety by warning drivers of imminent crash risks in time to avoid them and pave the way for self-driving cars…

The NHTSA states they are taking RFR concerns seriously, however they make a couple of important inaccurate statements:

  1. No scientific evidence establishes a causal link between wireless device use and cancer or other illnesses….”

3)  An Irish professor, with a background in satellite and microwave engineering, issues a warning about microwave radiation, and the dangers especially to children. He also describes how the industry has and will “war game” scientific evidence and those who discover/report it to protect their profits.

“However, in 2019 the cumulative body of scientific evidence should have governments and regulators take immediate action to change policy and implement appropriate safety standards for digital technologies, as it is children that are most at risk. Given the clear risks that RFR-based technologies present, it is also vital for parents and educators to take immediate action on the use of microwave emitting devices where children are concerned. As there is overwhelming evidence that safety standards are woefully outdated, the action to be taken is clear. The precautionary principle should be applied and the use of all microwave RFR-enabled devices, from WiFi-enabled tablets (and smartphones) to WiFi routers, should be heavily curtailed or eliminated…

Thus, in light of the evidence, the precautionary principle should be applied and governments should implement policies that result in the removal of WiFi routers and all WiFi devices from the classrooms of elementary/primary and secondary/high schools. Just to remind the reader what the precautionary principle means: “When an activity raises threats of harm to human health or the environment, precautionary measures should be taken even if some cause and effect relationships are not fully established scientifically.” 2  We are well beyond that point, as this paper illustrates. The application of the precautionary principle is a statutory requirement in some areas of law in the European Union, as expressed in the Charter of Fundamental Rights. Thus EU governments at least have a political and an ethical responsibility to act…

An excerpt from a recent article in The Guardian newspaper summarises the type of response to be expected from industry with respect to microwave RFR and in particular the release of the findings of the NTP study. “Central to keeping the scientific argument going is making it appear that not all scientists agree. Towards that end, and again like the tobacco and fossil-fuel industries, the wireless industry has “war-gamed” science, as a Motorola internal memo in 1994 phrased it. War-gaming science involves playing offence as well as defence – funding studies friendly to the industry while attacking studies that raise questions; placing industry-friendly experts on advisory bodies such as the World Health Organisation and seeking to discredit scientists whose views differ from the industry’s.”

GR3C. the organization involved with the publishing of this paper has connections with many investment, legal and tech companies.  Perhaps they will realize the potential for financial and legal liabilities to companies and institutions that know the dangers and continue to expose children.
