1) Experts like Dr. Martha Herbert have found relationship between microwave radiation and autism. The financial costs to parents, schools, the medical system for these children are horrendous. In this Global News article, it says that the assessment alone costs $3,000, and there is a year’s wait in BC !!

Thousands of B.C. children waiting for autism assessment
In 2013-14, 1,719 kids were waiting. Last year, there were more than 2,000. Now, more than 3,200 children under the age of 19 are waiting for an assessment.
That queue translates to an average wait time of 55.5 weeks.
2) One of our members responded to Dr. Magda Havas’s request for information about costs due to health problems caused by “electrosmog exposure”. Her child “who has been denied accommodation in school has been accessed with a Chronic Health Disability and we receive almost $20,000 a year for tutors for tutors to come to our home.” The “disability” is EHS.
There are many other children who cannot attend schools that have Wi-Fi and many other wireless devices. Imagine the long-term health costs for children who are exposed for several hours every school day for all their school years.
3) Many are getting letters from BC Hydro saying, miraculously, that their analogs have “expired” all at the same time. When questions are asked of BC Hydro about the safety, fire, privacy issues, replies are as expected, talking points that are not accurate in many regards. These people are paid to convince people to accept the smeter and really don’t know anything about any of the issues.
There are many reasons to refuse a smeter, with or without the transmitter turned off. Either way, Dirty Electricity [DE] is created by the switch mode power supply and this dirty electricity (harmonics) rides on the home’s wiring. Experts, like Dr. Sam Milham, believe that this dirty electricity is as dangerous, and perhaps even worse, than the microwave radiation. We need to demand that our analogs be returned. Not only our health and safety are at stake, so is our privacy.
I believe that ITRON’s plans, as described in their brochure (see the updates of Sept. 21 and 22)[https://stopsmartmetersbc.com/2018-09-21-itron-admits-the-reasons-for-smeters/ & https://stopsmartmetersbc.com/2018-09-22-is-itrons-plan-to-use-smeters-for-other-purposes-legal/], are illegal. Please consider writing to:
Attorney General David Eby <AG.Minister@gov.bc.ca> with your concerns about this.
Smart meter radiation and health – why are we neglecting non-toxic alternatives?
“Professor Magda Havas posits risks to diabetics from DE (dirty electricity), the higher frequency transients/ harmonics from switched-mode power that overlay wiring and its EM fields. “By closely following plasma glucose levels in four Type 1 and Type 2 diabetics, we find that they responded directly to the amount of DE in their environment. In an electromagnetically clean environment, Type 1 diabetics require less insulin and Type 2 diabetics have lower levels of plasma glucose.”
Epidemiologist Dr Sam Milham has published pioneering papers on the possible impacts of DE on human biology. Though more data and high-quality follow-ups are certainly needed, his thoughtful investigations and case studies raise valid questions about possible disease risks from exposure.
In April, Milham filed a testimony in an Arizona court case contesting smart meters. “Because it is at the front end of a building’s wiring, the dirty electricity from the smart meter’s SMPS [switched-mode power] has a gateway into that building’s wiring … The house wiring acts as an antenna [radiating] 6 to 8 feet from the house wiring or extension cords”.
He suggests that the many, published neurotoxic effects in DE frequency ranges found on house wiring might be a putative stressor. Engineer Lloyd Morgan has also tested DE and child asthma.”

Subject: Re: FW: OCT.1st/2018 BC HYDRO LETTER ….
I understand that the NDP caucus has decided to ignore this issue even though John Horgan insisted he’d review Hydro and its practices while campaigning, it’s a relatively small one that could be dealt with by addressing the people affected, ignoring citizens’ concerns in this way does not make them go away, I’m a supporter of the present government but this culture is concerning and can grow into much larger implications at election time, as a former board member of Fight HST I have a bit of experience with this dynamic…. hopefully one person in a position of influence can talk some sense to the decision makers, before the issue grows in the media sense, and many votes lost…. right now Mr. Weaver, “nobody is listening”…great time to take a lead! Thank you for taking time out to read my letter and concerns,
