2) People in the UK are concerned that the new LED street lights are causing major health problems.
The town facing a ‘humanitarian crisis’ caused by the radiation from state-of-the-art street lamps: Residents have endured insomnia, nose bleeds and even stillbirths, scientist claims
“Radiation given off by state-of-the-art street lamps is wreaking havoc on the residents of Gateshead.
According to local scientist Mark Steele, 58, people living in the area are experiencing symptoms of insomnia, nose bleeds and several women have even endured the horror of stillbirths since the introduction of LED lamps that emit 5G radiation.
In his circle alone, Mr Steele is aware of three women who have lost their children since the lights were installed in September 2016, with one giving birth to a deformed child that survived just three hours…
UK telecoms regulator Ofcom reportedly plans to launch 5G services, such as lamps and cell towers, throughout Britain by 2020. There are rumours Gateshead is taking part in a ‘secret Government trial’ by rolling out the technology in the borough before then.”

Many communities in BC have had LED street lights installed. There is a problem with LED lights emitting blue light which interferes with melatonin production. If these lights have a wireless transmitter, we have additional reasons for concern. ITRON’s newer smeters, the Riva model, has the capability of linking with the street lights. At this point, I don’t know if the older models, which were initially installed in BC, are able to do that but will advise when I find out. Also, I don’t know if BC Hydro and FortisBC are replacing the older models with the newer Riva models. This, too, I am attempting to discover. Let me know if you see LED street lights with antennae like those in photos in the article above.
Smart Street Lights
As more cities use LED Street lights to replace older lamps, they often don’t mention the Wireless Network that these new lamps often include now. There are various brands out there and each work in a similar way, however ITRON, the maker of the Smart meters used here in British Columbia, seems to think that their smart meter network should be networked with the street lights. The big question is Why?
“Municipalities will implement smart streetlights using sensors to monitor the environment, including lighting needs, traffic, smog, seismic and severe weather events, and to increase public safety. Itron Riva™ technology does help efficiently and reliably communicate this sensor data over extensive mesh networks. Likewise, a utility or municipality’s streetlights can also be controlled using the same communication network (on/off/dimming), and the lamps can also be monitored for maintenance issues such as burned out bulbs or dayburners, allowing a utility to efficiently service streetlights.”
Many people sensitive to wireless say that this change would be unnecessary. Street lights have been equipped with light detection for many years to turn each lamp off and on, this did not require wireless.

Dr. Toril Jelter is a Board Certified Pediatrician and General Practitioner in who treats children and adults with “Microwave Sickness” otherwise known as ElectroHyperSensitivity (EHS). In this video clip, she discusses how many of her autistic/ADHD patients improved dramatically after removing sources of wireless radiation and electrical pollution (Electrosmog) in their homes. She also developed a 2-week calming behavior protocol for children with autism and ADHD.
Microwave Sickness” is now more commonly referred to as “ElectroSensitivity” (ES) or “ElectroHyperSensitivity” (EHS). Symptoms vary and many doctors aren’t considering any of this as a cause or contributor to poor or worsening health issues. Genetics don’t necessarily play a role. Misdiagnosis is common. Medication and meditation may lessen symptoms but they won’t cure the problem.
Maybe if more parents knew about this, they would demand that schools, libraries, doctors’ offices and hospitals be equipped with wired Internet instead of WiFi. Having WiFi where large groups of children spend long periods of time isn’t healthy for them or anyone else.
