1) A major conference in Greece resulted in the Athens Medical Assoc. making 16 recommendations for reducing exposure to microwave radiation.

“Dr. Metsis, among other health issues of wireless communication presented, emphasized the constantly increasing levels of radiation recorded today in many built up areas and cities—levels at which many doctors and scientists repeatedly raise alarms—the rising issue of electromagnetic hypersensitivity in a large number of citizens in most western countries, the setbacks of smart meter installation in private homes already exposed and the dangers of the completely unknown elements in the terahertz frequencies used in the new 5G technology.”
2) Non smeter – but many members are sending me very interesting articles about BC Hydro. Even if this weren’t an election year, we should be concerned about how this government has treated our once “jewel in the crown” corporation, BC Hydro. They have plundered and pillaged it, right under our noses.

3) An internet security expert in Australia is warning about the vulnerability of smeters, especially to hackers. And if/when the ZigBee chip is activated (and we have no protection against BC Hydro saying that, as a condition for having electricity, we must allow the ZigBbee chip to be activated), the “dumb” appliances in the home become vulnerable.
“Once a device had been cracked, the report found hackers monitoring real-time electricity usage could learn anything from when the refrigerator was last opened, to what program occupants were watching on television.
Mr Phair said that information would be valuable to burglars looking to monitor when a house was unoccupied.
“When a home has a number of internet-connected devices such as alarms or garage doors, the risk is heightened,” he said.”

Now, with the benefit of the above (or the BioInitiative Report 2012), were my wife and I to vote for you in the upcoming election, what is your personal position and, separately, that of BC’s Green Party, with respect to wireless radiation? Specifically, I’m referring to the ‘low-level’ (i.e., weak), pulsed, non-thermal radio / microwave frequency radiation that is emitted by all of today’s so-called consumer wireless products – including baby monitors, as well as ‘smart’ meters and ‘smart’ appliances? Remember, ALL radiation is cumulative; it all adds up.
You possibly are unaware of it but most non-industry scientists in the world believe there is a direct correlation between the explosion of wireless devices in our society over the past 30 years and the corresponding explosion of disease epidemics over that same period of time.

Were my wife and I to vote for you, would you be ‘for’ or ‘against’ the following:
a) Compelling BC’s electric power utilities to exchange – at their earliest and at their sole expense – the ‘smart’ meters they unilaterally elected to install on every home in the province with analogue meters (which emit no radiation)?
b) Removing Wi-Fi from all kindergartens and schools throughout the province and replacing it with fibre-optic cable?
c) Removing Wi-Fi from all provincially-owned/operated health care buildings – including hospitals and cancer clinics – in the province?
d) Removing Wi-Fi and Wi-MAX zones from all public buildings throughout the province – including public parks?
e) Encouraging the removal of all Bluetooth installations from cars and other vehicles throughout the province?
f) Removing Wi-Fi from publicly-owned vehicles including transit systems throughout BC?
g) Discourage the siting of cell phone towers from residential developments, and, as much as legally possible, forbid them from being installed on or near school property?
h) Prevent cordless phones (which ‘pulse’ 24-hours a day, every day, never shutting off) being sold in British Columbia?
I will no longer vote for the BC Liberals or the NDP as both have proven to be willfully ignorant of the topic and/or not interested in touching it. Either we vote for you or we abstain. Your reply will tell us that which we must do.
