1) A reminder of a rally in front of Dr. Perry Kendall’s office in Victoria, Tuesday, Aug. 23. See details below in Letters. We’d love to have a good turnout to show that parents, teachers, kids, grandparents are concerned about having Wi-Fi in schools, about Dr. Perry Kendall’s refusal to implement the Precautionary Principle, to ignore real scientific experts’ warnings. If you can’t make it due to distance, please consider holding similar rallies in front of the Health Authority’s or School Board’s office in your area. They all must be held responsible.
2) In Texas and other places in the USA, groups are beginning to hold the utilities and the Public Utilities Commissions responsible for financially misleading the public about the true costs and benefits of the $$meter program. Just as BC Hydro and FortisBC have done in BC, benefits were overstated and projections of costs understated. A prime example is the expected lifespan of the $$meter, that was used to amortize costs, is 20 years when it was clear and admitted by industry that the true lifespan is closer to 5-7 years. I believe it is time for some financial audit of the records for the Smart Meter Program by an independent person/company – the Auditor General said she has it on her list, to be done sometime. Deliberate misrepresentation = fraud, and that is what the author of the letter is suggesting is occurring in Texas re. ITRON smeters.
Read letter starting pg. 11. Very good info. continues throughout . On pg. 30/32, the most complete explanation of why people are seeing higher bills after being smetered that I’ve seen.
