2016-02-19 A teacher fired and a reporter could be for speaking out about Wi-Fi.

1)    The program “Wi-Fried” that aired on Australian ABC TV earlier this week has caused a backlash of immense proportions, indicating (IMHO) that a nerve was hit and the industry is reacting. A good reporter could potentially lose her job, due to industry attacks.  They do not want the truth to be known – that wireless radiation can cause major health problems including DNA damage.

2)    Things are heating up re. Wi-Fi. A few days ago, I sent the video of a young teacher talking about the effect of Wi-Fi on the health of her students and herself. Now she’s been fired. Hopefully, the parents and the union will support her. We need more like her speaking out. That’s the only way parents are learning that their children are exposed all day every day to strong Wi-Fi signals. No information sheets are sent out, no permission required.

My comments:  Isn’t it time to shift the narrative?

Dr. Maryanne Demasi produced a documentary on wireless radiation that recently aired on ABC Catalyst in Australia. The documentary that has been criticized as “scare mongering” by a few “health experts” who claim that exposure to low-intensity microwave radiation is safe. The news media in Australia has attacked this program claiming that it “had given credence to a well trodden public health conspiracy.”

In my recent teleconference  for the Collaborative on Health and the Environment, I mentioned that some scientists deny that exposure to non-thermal levels of electromagnetic fields can have health consequences. These “denialists” ignore thousands of peer-reviewed studies that have found biologic and/or health effects from exposure to low intensity, non-ionizing radiation. The denialists, many of whom have conflicts of interest, often label scientists who call for precaution “scare-mongers” or “fringe” scientists.

Dr. Demasi provides a well-reasoned response to critics of her documentary in the Huffington Post article below.  But perhaps she was overly defensive as she called Dr. Devra Davis who is featured in her documentary “a dissenting voice in this debate.”  In the past year, 218 scientists from 40 nations, all of whom have published peer-reviewed research on electromagnetic fields (EMF) and biology or health, signed the International EMF Scientist Appeal .  The Appeal is a petition that calls on world governments to take precaution regarding exposure to EMF. The signatories believe that a comprehensive, objective review of the scientific evidence supports the need for precautionary action. Many other EMF scientists agree with this assessment but opted not to sign the Appeal for philosophic or pragmatic reasons. Thus, a case can be made that the denialists, even though they may still control official bodies like ARPANSA, NCRP or ICNIRP , may actually now be the dissenting voices in this debate.

Subject: Comments on an article in The Sydney Morning Herald

I would like to make some comments regarding the article by Catherine Armitage:

Catherine’s article provides a negative stance to the Catalyst program “Wi-Fried?” which aired on ABC TV on February 16, 2016.  However, there are people all around the world who would agree with my comments below.

My family would like to thank the Catalyst team and reporter Maryanne Demasi for researching, producing, and airing the program “Wi-Fried?”.

The entire world – people, animals, insects, and plants – is being bombarded by wireless devices with nowhere to escape.  And illnesses of all kinds are occurring.

There are thousands of independent-from-industry, peer-reviewed scientific studies and statements being released every day warning of the dangers of this unprecedented, non-consentual experiment on all living things.

Big business is running scared and spending a lot of $$ to protect their bank accounts.  And they are afraid of future lawsuits from all over the world.

We hope that ABC will not be afraid to continue to represent the rest of us and tell the truth!  The world needs independent media to speak out and provide information that is not biased and/or controlled by big business.  Unfortunately, most media is scared to lose their advertising $$ and do not provide balanced, well-researched, unbiased information to the public any more.

This Catalyst TV program is excellent and has been shared on Facebook pages and with thousands of e-mail lists around the world.  It is an award winner!

Subject: New Fire regulations

Dear Sir

I ask that in your new legislation discussion that you include new codes for smart meter fires or suspected fires and also that BC Hydro and FortisBC not be allowed to remove a hydro meter from the structure until after a full investigation has been completed. In fact I do believe that it is against the law in the province for anything to be removed from the site of a fire until a full investigation has taken place. There are too many fires happening in this province that are not reported and are only classed as electrical when in pictures taken of the point of origin it is the place where the meter was situated. These smart meters are known fire hazards and the manufacturers have admitted to the fact that they are hazardous. They do not have a Lithium Ion battery in them but a Lithium Metal battery. These batteries are extremely dangerous and they have been banned by air cargo carriers. A case in point was 2 pallets of these batteries were sitting on the tarmac waiting to be loaded onto a plane when one battery exploded and set that whole load on fire. Even if they were Lithium Ion batteries they will also explode while in use, case in point being these new skate boards called hover boards. The Lithium Ion batteries in these “toys” are known to explode when in use or sitting in a person’s luggage on a plane. They too have been banned from aircraft.

With these items I am including in the letter, one of the most important is the video of the fire on Sooke Lake Rd. From it you can see that the fire started from the hydro meter and then you see a fireman telling us that the fire started in the meter base. Then Hydro got there and took the meter, illegally, and the story was changed to the fire began in a planter sitting below the meter. As you will see there was no planter sitting under the meter box. BC Hydro and the Liberal government are doing their darnedest to push these meters onto houses and commercial buildings and they are putting the lives of all of us at risk with these bombs that are just waiting to go off. Check out on the internet under smart meter fires and you will see that they are happening everywhere and people have lost their lives to these things.

Please read the articles and watch the videos I have included here and keep the information in the forefront as you make your recommendations.
