- The New York group fighting for their right not to have $$meters on their homes have found a conflict of interest that could explain some of their problems. So often the answer to silence or “willful ignorance” is to follow the money. This from an email sent to me as part of the group.
On the news last night, it was reported that during Sheldon Silver’s (former speaker of the NYS Assembly) corruption trial that Amy Paulin’s husband has 250K in stock with ConEd, which wants to roll out all these 2-way meters in New York.
Amy Paulin is Chair of the Energy Committee of the NYS Assembly.
Many of us have met with Paulin’s staffers about smart meters and have basically been ignored/sneered at by them- now we know why.
We couldn’t understand why we couldn’t get a basic opt-out bill on the table after pointing out what went on in CA, ME, TX, VT, and elsewhere.
It was also reported that her husband has 150K stock in Merck , and she shepherded through a vaccine bill that would enrich Merck.
- Recently wifi has been allowed on commercial airplanes, and this has raised concerns about the possibility of serious health problems among the crew from the constant exposure to RF radiation inside a Faraday cage. Attached is a document that raises many questions but one specific one: why is wifi being allowed on airplanes without proof that the crew and passengers will not be harmed?
- Since Sept. 29 I’ve been attempting to get the most recent financial report with status information, as well as legacy fees and expenses. As you can see in the letters below, this is generally not information provided to the public. This is bewildering to me since this is our money that is being spent, our extortion fees being gathered and spent. What 3rd party is being protected? If/when I get the reports I will share, but I believe this is something that should be questioned.
- New report shows increased brain tumors in the 2008-2012, and Kendall denies this is happening. This report is from the US. So far I haven’t found a report from Canada. Please consider writing to our provincial health officer who is in denial about the health problems associated with wireless radiation. His email is kendall@gov.bc.ca
Brain and CNS tumors are the most common form of solid tumors in children,32,33 accounting for the majority of cancer mortality in this age group.34
Gliomas account for approximately 47.0% of tumors in children and adolescents age 0-19 years … Gliomas account for approximately 53.0% of tumors in children age 0-14 years.

Dear Ms. Sharpe,
I appreciate your prompt response. It is surprising that a financial report of a public body would be considered confidential in any regard. Could you please tell me if this is common practice?
Thank you.

Subject: Smart Meter Financial Report
Dear Mr. Wruck,
Is it not required for BC Hydro to provide BCUC with quarterly financial updates to major programs such as the smart meter program? Wouldn’t this include the review of special assessments such as the legacy fees which have been charged since Dec. 1, 2013?
As you see below, in emails on which you were copied, I have been asking for copies of the most recent report for more than a month. Mr. MacDonald said that he had asked the Smart Meter department to respond, but so far I have heard nothing. Certainly no response is required except to provide copies of the reports.
Could you please provide me with copies of the most recent report(s) that BC Hydro provided to the BCUC? Whether these were covered periods 3 months or 3 years ago, I would like the last one that BC Hydro provided. Can you please confirm that you will be able to provide me with this information?
Thank you.
Regards,
Sharon Noble

Dear Mr. Reimer and Ms. McDonald,
On September 29 I asked Mr. MacDonald for a copy of the last financial report on the Smart Meter program. As you can see he forwarded my request to the Smart Meter Department that day.
To date I have received no confirmation of this, nor have I received any idea about how long it should take to prepare “a response”.
The only conclusion I can reach for this delay is that no report has been prepared. I didn’t ask for a specific report – I asked for the most recent. Frankly, I don’t want “a response” from the Smart Meter Department. I would like a copy of the last financial report.
If the additional information that I asked for, e.g. the fees paid and the costs associated with the meter choice program, will take time to gather, I would appreciate being told that it is being gathered and being given an approximate timeframe.
Thank you.

Dear Mr. MacDonald,
Could you please send me a copy of or a link to the most recent financial report on the Smart Meter Program? If this doesn’t include an accounting of the legacy fees, both the amount obtained and the cost of the additional services provided to those with legacy meters, could you please provide this report as well?
Thank you.

Sharon Noble
