- This government and BC Hydro have a terrible track record when it comes to project management and meeting budgets. We have yet to hear anything about the smeter project and budget. Why should it be any different that these? We should demand an accounting of the project, and of the extortion fees and “special services” associated with maintaining legacy meters.
- Wifi in schools is becoming ubiquitous and parents are given no choice and no information about the potential dangers, thanks largely to Perry Kendall who has said that although he had never said wifi is safe, neither will he inform people about the scientific evidence showing harm, especially to children. Other countries are taking precautionary steps. Please share with parent, teachers and school board members. We should all ask Perry Kendall why he is allowing (even encouraging) this to happen when there is no benefit to wifi installation.

What happened sounds like what has happened in BC – where the fire report says “failed electrical distribution equipment” and BC Hydro uses the Freedom of Information Act to refuse to provide any information at all, even what the equipment failed.

On September 17, 2015 I just finished mowing our front yard, it was about 0900. I had just entered the side gate to the right of our garage which is the same side the meter can is on. (smart meter installed back in June 2015) I entered the gate with the mower running as I began to mow passed the meter I heard a lot of popping sounds and thought I had picked up something with mower so I let the handle go to kill the engine. The popping continued and as I turned around to look back at what the popping was the meter was arcing really bad as if it was spitting out sparks up to 4-5 feet away from the meter. I had just walked passed it within 4 feet of it.
What if the arcing had begun to arc while I was passing it? It would have hit me on the left side of my face and shoulder.
I immediately dialed 911 and had the fire dept. come out. While I was waiting the meter started arcing more rapidly and getting hotter. I then noticed the main service line from our house to the telephone pole started to steam traveling from our house back up to the pole. The arcing then started at the telephone pole…it was loud!! I thought the transformer is going blow, but eventually the service line detached from the pole and fell to the ground, in the area of the front yard I had just finished mowing.
Once the service line fell so did the meter from out of the meter can. I guess when the air hit that area where the two are engaged the flames grew and went straight up hitting the overhang of the garage damaging the meter can, riser, and the weather head. Thankfully the fire did not enter the garage as we still have a ton of unopened boxes. We just moved in the house at the end of April. Thank God no structural damage was caused to the house just a lot of soot to the outside wall of the garage, overhang and the three other electrical disconnects to the house. I can’t imagine what would have happened if I had not been home at the time. All of my neighbors are at work at that hour of the morning. It caused power outage to four other homes. I thought for a minute there I was going to watch our house go up in smoke. Thank the big man upstairs for having me at the right place at the right time.

Tragically for all Canadians, Health Canada is once again knowingly and deliberately not telling us the truth about the known harmful biological and health effects humans experience when constantly exposed to NON-thermal radiation (just as Health Canada lied to us about tobacco, asbestos, leaded gasoline, Thalidomide, etc.).
Disgracefully, B.C.’s own PHO, Dr. Perry Kendall, has shown himself over these past 16 years to be no more than a puppet for Health Canada, for he always says that wireless devices are safe
– simply because they comply with Safety Code 6! Instead of protecting British Columbians from NON-thermal microwave radiation, he has steadfastly defended and championed Health Canada’s reviled Safety Code 6 – even though it was, until recently, one of the highest/most dangerous in the entire world! Early in 2015 its exposure limits were reduced slightly, but it still remains one of the highest/most dangerous in the world! For example, Safety Code 6 (2015 version) still allows Canadians to be exposed to literally millions of times more NON-thermal radiation than the Austrian Medical Association recommends!
As elected representatives charged with protecting your constituents, it is my hope that you will accept my offer to enable each community to HEAR the enormous amount of invisible and normally undetectable microwave radiation now bathing – and harming – you, your families, your constituents and your employees. I am so concerned about governments’ dishonesty today and the dangerous levels of this NON-thermal radiation – to which we are all defenseless guinea pigs – that I am doing my utmost to educate those who want to know the truth.
