- Public Meeting, Grand Forks, Aug. 12, 6:00 -8:00 pm.
“Smart Meters – Electromagnetic Health Effects and Fire Danger: FACTS, NOT FICTION”
More information is in the attached announcement. Please pass word to friends and relatives in the Grand Forks area.
- A very interesting observation from a member:
Sharon’s update regarding fruit flies came at the right time. In 3 years of travelling the mountain highway to Port Alberni, we did not notice any insects. What is important to notice is, that there are several cell towers on the way. Where have all the insects gone?
Driving through Vancouver Islands northern mountains yesterday and late last night, we noticed insects everywhere! The difference is, that between Gold River and Campbell River, there is not a single cell tower! There is no cell reception. It was like when I was a child, when insects danced and buzzed in the air in great numbers. This is how Nature is intended to be!
- Every time there is an article in the media, the industry’s paid hacks come out and take the attention away from the issue. A prime example is the recent articles in newspapers about the Fed. govt. committee that reviewed the Royal Society report on Safety Code 6. Most of the articles had industry affiliated people and “the Skeptics”, like that woman from the Univ. of BC Okanagan Biology Dept. who really have no credentials, attacking the message. This is called “astroturfing”, and there is an industry built to hide science. Here is an interested TED video, only 10 min. long explaining what we are up against and how to recognize it. And when we see it, we should call it for what it is.

Please record for legal purposes, that I have previously contacted BC HYDRO to inform them that, at the time the 28 smart meters are doing the ‘data dump’ at xxxxxxxx the lights flicker. This signifies there are power problems in the building due to the smart meters. The caretaker is also recording the extreme number of burnt out bulbs throughout the common areas such as the walkway system, again signifying that the smart meters are causing surges that are dangerous.
I have also monitored with a radiofrequency meter and discovered that the smart meters are radiating at extreme high levels hazardous to health for up to 3 hours at a time, at the same time lights are flickering and appears the power is going on and off.
It is well documented that flickering lights, burnt out lights, shorted out appliances all precede a smart meter fire.
This is to inform you that these conditions have been seen at xxxxxxx, and if a fire results from the 28 smart meters you have installed by illegally trespassing on posted property, you have been warned and advised and you will of course be 100% liable for any damage and/or death.
I have many times requested BC HYDRO to replace the wireless hazardous meter with safe analogue but they have refused. I have many times asked you, Patrick Wruck to intervene but you have refused with various excuses.
It is your responsibility and mandate to ensure the hydro is delivered in a safe manner but, at this time,it is not safe.

Subject: BCH Legacy fee
Good day.
Yet again, I have been threatened with the loss of my electricity over the enormous sum of $69.11. This is the amount owing due to the extortionist “legacy” fee, plus account charges for late payment of this fee last billing period.
I continue to protest this fee, and pay it only to maintain my electricity supply. The accompanying letter, sent to your billing department, explains why I continue to pay this fee only under duress, and with the strongest possible objection.
I expect that one day the truth about the entire “smart” program will eventually be known. It’s nefarious purposes, it’s undemocratic rollout, and the deceitful and bullying tactics used by BCH and the Liberal government of BC to get their way with this program will all become public knowledge. Perhaps when that happens, those of us who have refused to participate in this odious program will finally be heard, and our “legacy fees” will be recognized as illegal, discriminatory and immoral, and be reimbursed. That is my hope.
For this reason, I continue to write you these letters of objection with every bill. They will constitute a record of my continuing objection to your program.
