I know nothing about the material or if it actually works, but obviously concerns are increasing about health effects on foetuses. Frankly it is far safer not to use cell phones or to put wireless devices on the tummy, but this sends a message, if nothing else….

2) A response to a complaint about an older fee structure a couple of weeks ago. Nothing significant in the letter itself that I can see, but here is the name of the VP of customer service, Keith Anderson. His email would be anderson@bchydro.com He is the one to whom complaints about bullying, lies being told by phone reps, erroneous bills that are being ignored, unanswered complaints, etc. should be addressed.

3) We all know that the Smart Meters come with a zigbee chip for the purpose of communicating with $$mart appliances which are now on the market with chips. This will mean high and continual RF throughout our homes for one purpose — to give Hydro/Fortis more of our personal data. Manufacturers have said that if we tamper with the chips, the warranties for the appliances would be void.
We may not be able to control everything, but it seems, from this Australian site, that there may be an alternative to this RF from these chips — it’s wired facility in the appliance. This would allow communication on our home wiring. This isn’t great because there would be high dirty electricity plus our data would still be gathered. But it would necessitate our having “homeplugs”, a device into which the appliance would be plugged. It seems to me that we could control this – unplug the homeplug, or refuse to buy it to begin with. There is every possibility that Hydro and Fortis will say that we must allow access as a condition for power, but this is a total invasion of privacy which we would fight.
When buying a new appliance we should ask for this option and refuse to buy appliances with zigbee chips.

4) BC Hydro’s rate increase is only padding the “profit” that will be given to the govt to make the deficit appear to be less. The schools are suffering, as are many people.

Here is a letter written re. an article about a cell tower being considered near this soon-to-be mother’s home. To date, the writer has not received a response from the directors, and neither have I. There were many excellent ones written – and I haven’t heard of any one receiving even an acknowledgement.

Subject: Cell tower at Fraser Creek
Dear Regional Board Members and Editor of the Parksville Qualicum News,
I read in the Parksville Qualicum News of mother-to-be, Genelle Conn, who addressed the Regional District of Nanaimo with her concerns about having Telus install a cell-phone tower as close as 200 meters from her home in a French Creek subdivision. She is rightly concerned about health effects of from radio frequency energy that will be transmitted. Health Canada, quoting their own standards in Safety Code 6, say there are no health effects at certain levels. Health Canada, in setting their standards, have ignored a long list of studies that say otherwise. People with Electrohypersensitivity are proof to that. Health Canada has simply ignored those studies. Many countries have introduced much more stringent safety guidelines and more information about health effects is coming out daily.
Ms. Conn also says she was not consulted about locating a cell tower so close to her home. Here in Golden, I have tried repeatedly to find out what the plan is for cell towers in our town. Ms. Liz Sauve sent out a media release in May, 2014, announcing that Telus was going to invest $1 million in Golden to “expand and enhance wireless service” . Ms. Sauve (and others at Telus) have not answered my several requests for information on their plans, nor have I been able to track down anyone at Telus who will give me the information. Our own Town Council was not given any information and our previous Mayor had suggested I ask Telus. I can easily see how people are not being consulted.
Just as another thought, the use of wireless technology can be compared to second-hand smoke. The difference, is that we can avoid the health hazards of second-hand smoke if we don’t allow it in our homes, but we cannot avoid the electromagnetic radiation from wireless technology when it is allowed to invade the privacy of our homes.
Surely there must be another location, at least 500 meters away from homes, where a cell tower could be located. Please reconsider your decision. Thank you.

The old data says that it may take 5-10-15 years before an adult will show signs of damage (cancers, tumors, immune system diseases, headaches, tinnitus, chronic fatigue, MS, Parkinson’s, many immune system diseases, and so many more) … but I am here to tell you that it is going to be a TSUNAMI in a very short amount of time, because of proliferation and upgrade of cell tower to 5G, WiFi everywhere, Smart Meters, cordless phones in every home, etc. …. All symptoms along similar lines of Radiation Poisoning which we associate with Fukushima and Chernobyl.
The damage is CUMULATIVE. Like a bucket that you fill with a grain of sand every time you get hit with a pulse … it may take a while but at one point the bucket starts to overflow, and that is when the body breaks down and symptoms show up.
Most doctors don’t have a clue and will not diagnose patients, believing it is psycho-somatic. However, EHS (Electro-Hyper Sensitivity) has a multitude of symptoms that comes about when the body starts to have a cascade of failures due to radiation poisoning from microwave transmitting devices.

Dear Alex and Ms. Conroy,
My sincere thanks for speaking out on this issue, as is your duty, on behalf of your constituents. When global insurance companies such as Lloyd’s of London and Swiss Re state publicly that they will not insure against any health-related claim attributed in any way to low-level, pulsed, non-thermal microwave radiation – such as is emitted by Smart Meters, baby monitors, etc. that is very telling and speaks volumes!
Even school boards and municipal governments have now been put on notice that they now need to educate themselves as to what ‘honest’ scientists (those not funded by industry) around the world have been saying for decades: ALL wireless radio and microwave frequency radiation is harmful to all life forms, not just to humans!
They now know that they may be held responsible for any health-related claims stemming from decisions they make that permit wireless devices of any kind to be placed on or in schools, hospitals, and other public buildings. Thank God!
Canada sorely needs more strong, decent, upstanding elected officials like you two. My heartfelt thanks.
