In response to the article about “the hum”, from a member:
To expand on her piece I don’t believe she mentioned the Frey Effect, the Microwave hearing effect was named after Allan Frey in the 1960’s, he experimented for a while then stop because he felt inducing the effect in people was harmful.  While the perception of the effect is real the sound in terms of normal audio sound is not.  Among other times I have heard it was when the Tellurometer that caused my problems was turned on – I heard it the other person did not,  Some people also hear the sound from florescent lights and other electronics such as TVs, The challenge with the sound is it cannot be picked up by acoustic meters but the EMR disturbance should show on an EMR meter. In and of itself I don’t think hearing the effect means one is biological more at risk than a person that cannot hear it, just that a person’s personal resonance at that time is set notice that particular combination of frequency, intensity, modulation, polarization etc

 

• Attached is a letter by a grandmother who has been fighting for years for her grandson’s right to attend school without being made sick by the wifi that was installed in his elementary school. The member questions Dr. Kendall’s ability to do his job, and would appreciate receiving any letters from Kendall or any of the health officers (like Stanwick) in which it is stated or implied that RF is safe, that exposing children and teachers to wifi in schools in not harmful. All trustees deserve huge kudos for doing the ‘right’ thing in order to protect children. (Note from Ted –  The above article is a very technical journal article but it does make reference to Bill Clinton’s concern about RF radiation.  See the 2nd page.  If you like to get into the details you can read the whole thing.  And Clinton’s memorandum was 20 years ago.  This just proves that the wireless industry is very successful in promoting their wireless products in spite of much evidence that there are major problems.  Follow the money.  )

President Bill Clinton in the USA, issued a formal memorandum in 1995, stating that Transmitter Masts should not be sited on schools or near residential areas. Also a German study found a threefold higher frequency of cancer among people living in the vicinity 400 m of a GSM base station compared to people living further away from the antenna. The frequency increased also the longer people had been exposed to the radiation

 
Diverse Cancerous Tumors: A Brazilian Study established a direct link between various cancer deaths such as tumors in the prostate, breast, lung, kidneys and liver in Brazil’s third largest city, and cell phone tower radiation exposures. The study found that, “more than 81 percent of people who die in Belo Horizonte by specific types of cancer live less than 500 meters away from the 300 identified cell phone antennas in the city”.

[As you can see below, Belo Horizonte experienced over 7,000 cancer deaths attributed to cell towers in the 10-year period: 1996-2006 ]
