1) The Saskatchewan NDP has received evidence via an FOI that there had been “failures” of $meters during a pilot project and warnings from the IBEW, yet the installations continued.
2) “With GridCure’s easy-to-use cloud analytics engine that deciphers terabytes of currently untapped data collected by smart meters, power utilities can do much more than simply bill customers for the power they use.”
3) sent by a member re. solar panels, and saying “good-bye” to BC Hydro:
“Nowadays, (this is really recent) high quality solar panels can be purchased fully assembled for only 86 cents per watt.”

4) From a member. Note: Telus Engineers avoid RF radiation.
Just finished a phone conversation with a person that used to work in IT in Telus.
On occasion he would have to deal with the Telus Engineers, he found they usually had the wireless network turned off because they wanted to avoid the effects of radiation
Research has shown that very short bursts of pulsating RF can open the blood brain barrier, which can be used to help treat diseases of the brain. $$meters too emit very short bursts of pulsating RF, and research has shown this can lead to breaking of the cellular walls (barriers), making them leak, which can lead to DNA damage and other health problems.

5) People in Quebec are starting to get the overview of the $meter program, and the insiders pushing it and benefiting from it. The story in BC is very, very similar, some of the same “insiders” were identified by The Tyee in early 2011, but few paid attention

Subject: response from Scott Fraser to BC Hydro threat to turn off my hydro
To: John Horgan; Leader NDP
cc: Adrian Dix, NDP Energy Critic
Scott Fraser has dismissed my request for intervention with BC Hydro’s actions regarding the smart meters in my condo building.
He has based this on your comments on March 12, 2014 apparently?
Many things have changed nationwide in the Smart Meter ‘roll out’ including Saskatchewan’s acknowledgement of fires and safety hazards. For some political reason, BC continues to throw taxpayers’ money into the $meter program that most people don’t want.
It is a sad day in Canada when a province does not respect democracy.
It is a sad day when the province of BC fails to accommodate those who are disabled. Canada has been respected around the world as a country that recognized human rights. Not any more.
What are you doing to prevent this failure of democracy?
xx

Hello xx
Please refer to my email below – Aug. 7th – with regards to the course of action you need to take to address your hydro disconnection, as well as, your concerns with regards to the health effects from smart meters.
Neither MLA Fraser nor this office has the authority to negotiate a payment plan for you with BC Hydro or direct the company to remove meters.

To Scott Fraser,
BC HYDRO is cutting off my hydro. I cannot pay the $550+ analogue fees.
Further, BC Hydro changed 25 of the 29 meters near my condo by entering the electric room illegally. Now I get severe headaches and tinnitus. They refuse to change them back.
I need the power to live. BC HYDRO told me they are shutting it off after this Friday, Aug 15.
You are the only one who can do something about this. Please act.

Hello xx
If you have received a disconnection notice, you will need to contact BC Hydro to discuss payment arrangements (depending on your credit history with them).
With regard to your concerns around smart meters and health issues, we would encourage you to share your personal story with the minister responsible, Hon. Bill Bennett – http://www.leg.bc.ca/mla/40thparl/bennett-Bill.htm
If you feel that you are being treated unfairly by BC Hydro, you may wish to contact the BC Ombudsperson – https://www.ombudsman.bc.ca/home/who-and-what-can-the-ombudsperson-investigate
Sincerely,
