Wireless radiation is invisible, odorless and silent. If we could somehow sense all the microwave radiation around us, this proliferation would be stopped. 2) Fortis will start installations in 2014 September
Fortis has sent out letters advising that installation will begin in September 2014 starting with Trail-Salmo area, and then going to Kelowna, South Okanagan, Similkameen and Boundary, finishing in the Kootenays by the end of 2015.

Subject: Medical evidence that must not be ignored
Dear Ms. Karagianis,
Over the years I have sent you, as my MLA, and those copied in this email many studies and reports done by independent scientists and experts about the dangers of prolonged exposure to microwave radiation. And over the years, this evidence has been growing and has been ignored by all levels of government in Canada.
It is easy to hide behind Safety Code 6, as our provincial medical officials do, even though it is among the weakest guidelines in the developed world. A recent review was a sham, with a panel comprised of several members who had worked for industry for many years, literally bought scientists. The outcry was loud and intense when the panel was first announced – with the result being predetermined— and is continuing with real experts showing that studies that were reviewed were cherry picked, just as the panel members were. So please, do not use Safety Code 6 as a justification for doing nothing.
The provincial health department has a responsibility to the citizens of BC with regard to exposure. Even Safety Code 6 says that provinces can set their own limits, just as it says it exists for the protection of those working at or visiting federally regulated sites.
Yet children are being exposed to uncontrolled wifi in schools and to smart meters at home. Pregnant women are not being warned that they risk the health of their infants by putting laptops on their stomachs or by carrying cellphones in their pockets. The provincial health department is failing the people of British Columbia.
