1) A victory against AT&T, apparently due to a couple raising awareness about health issues, help from their doctors and from Theodora Scarato. Hopefully, this will set a precedent from which others will benefit.

2) A warning about Apple wireless devices that could cause harm — to those with medical devices. No mention at all that the electromagnetic fields can cause harm to those using them even if they don’t have medical devices. Cell phones tested in Canada (only 90) included 2 Apples, iPhone7 and iPhone 11. Neither was tested by ISED next to the body, as used by most people. According to Dr. Om Gandhi, if these were tested as used, they would most likely fail but ISED would leave them on the market anyway, just as they have many other phones that emit higher levels than Safety Code 6 supposedly allows.

“APPLE users with medical devices have been warned to keep their consumer-electronic products at a safe distance.
Most consumer-electronic devices – like the iPhone 14 – are made with magnets or components that emit electromagnetic fields.
In turn, this can interfere with certain medical devices “under certain conditions,” Apple said in a blog post.
“For example, implanted pacemakers and defibrillators might contain sensors that respond to magnets and radios when in close contact,” Apple writes.
Of course, if you don’t have a medical device implanted then you can keep your phone as close to yourself as you want.”

3) Residents of 2 towns in Massachusetts will be able to voice their concerns about wireless towers/transmitters when they vote on May 1. I expect this action was discussed in the webinar yesterday, which I missed. I will forward the recording of it when it is made available. Remember, US laws are different from Canada’s but there are similarities that can be useful to us.

“Wireless Regulations, to adopt a Wireless Telecommunications Facilities (WTFs) application requirement for completeness: WTF applications, will be considered incomplete until the FCC completes the DC Circuit court-mandated Environmental Review of the entire 800,000 to 1 million WTF roll out to the conditions as stated in the NEPA
Policy Act 19691 including studies from scientists independent from industry, who have fully investigated millimeter wave 5G small cell technology safety; and that the FCC regulations have been updated to include measures that comply with the results of this review; and, that the Town of Sheffield shall consider reasonable alternatives such as fiber optic.”
