2023-02-14 Dr. David Carpenter being viciously attacked

1) Please consider signing and sharing this important sign-on letter being circulated in support of Dr. David Carpenter, a scientist who has done critically important research on PCBs and other chemicals as well as EMF over the years. He is under attack by PCB polluter Monsanto who is trying to stifle him, to discredit him as industry has done to other scientists (such as Dr. Henry Lai) who have dared to speak out about the major polluting industries, including the telecoms and utilities. Not only has he given expert testimony with the permission and full knowledge of SUNY, but he has donated all money earned via testimony to SUNY. Why has SUNY taken this action after decades? There must be a clear incentive from Monsanto or a conflict of interest by someone at SUNY.

Here’s the background and links to stories on this in the news…

SUPPORT DR. DAVID CARPENTER
February 13, 2023

“Dr, David Carpenter is a distinguished professor at the State University of Albany and an international expert on health damages caused by PCBs. He has written 450 peer-reviewed scientific papers and edited six books on environmental health issues.

Dr. Carpenter is under attack by Monsanto (which is now owned by Bayer). Monsanto manufactured most of the PCBs used in the US until PCBs were banned by the EPA in 1977.”

2) A terrific letter written to CSRD Board members by S.A.R.A. requesting that a delegation be allowed to present concerns re. a proposed cell tower. This lays out the problems with full explanations with great clarity.

Sorrento & Area Residents Association (S.A.R.A.)

“Many in the Sorrento Community are concerned and even anxious about the ability of a telecom company to force a cell tower into our environment for a variety of reasons. We would ask that you act as a first line of defense for your constituents and take the opportunity to hear a delegation at your regular board meeting on Thursday, February 16, 2023, which is the third request for such a delegation. Your board does have certain tools and abilities to communicate with the ISED and telecom companies, and if you would please take the time to read this letter and review the attachments you will see there is a wealth of evidence pointing to the wisdom of questioning the roll out of increased wireless microwave radiofrequency radiation in our environment. Wired broadband is the answer to our rural connectivity as much of the infrastructure is already installed, it is more secure than wireless signals, uses significantly less energy and is completely safe.”

3) A friend sent this reminder that wireless devices, including smeters, can cause fires, and should not be anywhere near anything flammable, like propane tanks. Smeters are made of plastic and are highly combustible, unlke analog meters which are made of glass and metal.

No cell phone, no smart meter near propane tanks

“Precautions to be followed near propane gas, no cellphones or smart meters because danger of explosion, static electricity could cause a spark.

In Case of an Emergency | Residential | Énergir:
danger of explosion if you use a cell phone in front of a leak

And you have to be 3 meters from propane gas for a smart meter according to electrical engineer Thomas Tobber

«Because there can be arcing and overheated components in a plastic electricity meter installation, the meter must be 3 meters from any propane tanks. The propane stove has to be professionally ventilated so that CO and CO2 do not accumulate in the house.»
Thomas

What to do?

1. Avoid flames and sparks.
Do not smoke.
Do not turn on any appliance near the leak, not even a cell phone or a light switch – static electricity could produce a spark.

2. Leave the building immediately or move well away from the leak if you are already outdoors.
Without delaying your exit, on your way out, you could open doors and windows (or leave them open) to ensure maximum ventilation.

3. Call 9-1-1.
