1) Children’s Health Defense is getting involved with educating the public about EMR and has a couple of campaign alerts — one “No 5G Near Schools” and another “Fiber First” which demands that FCC acknowledge EHS/EMS. There are some great flyers and graphics that can be downloaded.

2) From a member re. smeter with transmitters disabled being “up-graded”. If any of you have the chance, I would appreciate your taking a photo of this “box-like machine” and sharing with me at:

I have asked this person to get information about what the update entailed and to check to see if any RF is being emitted from the smeter since this change. I am not sure what the BC Hydro person meant by “now there could be no changes done remotely”. With the transmitter disabled, no remote changes could be done because the transmitter/receiver is unable to receive wireless communications. As I get more information (hopefully from some of you) about these ‘upgrades’, I will share.
“Over the summer our meter reader came to “upgrade” the software on our opt-out smeter. She put some kind of box-like machine on the ground attached to the smeter to do this and it took about half an hour. At the end she said that now there could be no changes done remotely. If we wanted to change to a regular smeter, someone would have to come to our place and install a new smeter. She gave me a BC Hydro card if we wanted to call to find out more about the upgrade. I haven’t done this.”

!Remember Asbestos, Cigarettes, DDT were all acceptable 50 years ago, and then…..we learned the devastating effects.
Our big concern: To be Safe from EMF, Electromagnetic Radiation.
Councilor Teunis Westbroek, invited us to hold a Community meeting on this subject at the Civic Centre because we had been turned down by QB Council four (4) times when we requested to be a delegation at Council these past 2 years.
The CRA is now giving people affected by EM radiation a tax deduction for the costs of protecting themselves. (Note from Sharon: I am getting more info re. this.)
Lloyds of London and others reinsurers do not cover or payout for harmful effects of EMF radiation.
Marcus Schluschen demonstrated how our bodies react to EMF, with a vigorous Q/A following.
Our Chair, Teunis, impressed by the effect of “wired in” versus wireless said they are changing their house over to wired only. We too, along with many other families are making changes in our homes. Cell phones out of the bedroom, cell phone in airplane mode, microwaves gone, “wired in” benefits, and so much more.
