1) Scientists are warning that the environs above us are being treated as carelessly and with as much disregard as are the earth and oceans. Satellites and space junk are filling the skies, resulting in potentially dangerous ramifications for creatures on earth.

Space Ecosystem in Peril as Thousands of Satellites Orbit Earth, Scientists Say
” A collective of 11 astrophysicists and space scientists, citing thousands of satellites orbiting the earth and new ones being launched at a “dizzying pace,” warned it’s time to think of space as part of an interconnected system of living things…
… we shouldn’t see low Earth orbit as the next frontier of capitalist extraction, but rather as an ecosystem to be protected — one that, like other ecosystems, has limits and tipping points beyond which there is no return.”

2) Electrical equipment is shielded to prevent electromagnetic interference with its functions. Olle Johannson is calling for a similar protection for all living things, before it’s too late.
The Stockholm Declaration about “Life EMC”
”Now I take it one step further and point to the need to establish stringent, law-abiding, hygienic absolute safety exposure standards for all life on the planet: “Life EMC.” “(Life ElectroMagnetic Compatibility)
3) NOT EMF directly, but we could learn from this. Wireless radiation is a pollutant. Even the telecom industry acknowledges it is, so it should be treated as one, a deadly one that cannot be smelled, tasted, heard, or seen. It contributes to climate change because it uses far more energy than wired technology and it damages our pollinators, birds, plants, etc.

Lobbying, decarbonization and the financial system: A conversation with Senator Rosa Galvez
Description:
The tobacco industry shouldn’t get a say in the fight against smoking, and the fossil fuel industry shouldn’t get a say about how we fight climate change – but in Canada, it does. Senator Rosa Galvez says Canadians need to push harder to ensure science, not industry, shapes our climate policies. She will join Linda Solomon Wood to discuss the impacts of the fossil fuel lobby, and how Canadians can effectively engage with the government to push for change.
