1) There are quite a few lawsuits regarding wireless radiation and devices. In Maine, the utility company, CMP, was to allow people to keep their analogs as an opt-out option but now the courts have reneged on that requirement. Below is a Press Release with a full explanation, and the actual appeal. Like our lawsuit against BC Hydro 10 years ago (https://globalnews.ca/news/744042/class-action-lawsuit-launched-against-bc-hydro-over-smart-metres/ ), these people are fighting with limited funds that have been donated while CMP has very deep pockets filled with their customers’ money. It’s an unfair fight when it all depends on money.
“In the matter of the Maine PUC granting CMP their request to replace analog opt out meters with non-transmitting smart meters [solid states], the Maine Coalition to Stop Smart Meters filed a motion for reconsideration with the PUC. This was rejected by the Commissioners and in January we filed a Notice of Appeal [see below 1/13/22 Press Release for background] with the Maine Supreme Judicial Court [a.k.a. the Law Court] where all PUC appeals go.
With our appeal notice filing we had asked the Court for a stay on meter swaps pending resolution of the remand in EHT et al vs FCC. The request was denied but a briefing schedule was issued with our brief due April 20. Thanks to the excellent work of attorney Scott Sells the brief was filed today and is attached. I have not attached the Appendix that accompanies the brief and is largely a record of relevant PUC Orders and MCSSM Reconsideration Motion in the docket. CMP has until June 8th to file a response brief and then we have 21 days from their filing for a reply.” Ed Friedman

4) A bizarre film clip, mentioned in a New York Times article a few days ago, shared by a US group. Watch until near the end when there is a warning about cell phone radiation and fetuses. Ocean’s Twelve was released in Dec. 2004.

Would you please advise how people will be able to communicate with emergency services after NG9-1-1 is implemented?
As you must be aware this is a critical service which could save lives; if it fails, there is likely to be a loss of life.
The CRTC has abdicated all responsibility for provision of this service.
Who, if not you and your department, is responsible to guarantee all Canadians have access to 911 service subsequent to the implementation of NG911?
Will you take action to assure Canadians will continue to have 911 service?
