1) People are complaining about the brightness of the new LED lights which makes it impossible to sleep. This brightness could reduce the amount of melatonin being produced. Of equal concern is the potential/likelihood that these new lights or their fixtures could hold a microcell antenna required for 5G. These are being planned for all parts of BC. I hope people will bring this to their city councils and demand normal lights without any 5G antenna.

LED streetlight too bright?
“In a statement to Castanet Kamloops, a BC Hydro spokesperson said the company owns and maintains over 90,000 streetlights province-wide, and over the next two to three years, plans are in place to replace them all with energy-efficient LEDs.
BC Hydro said this program hasn’t been rolled out in Kamloops yet, but there have been approximately 300 LED lights installed in the city where old ones have burned out.”
2) I think I shared something about this a while back but given the item above I thought it appropriate to share this article about 5G transmitters on street lights.
AT&T is deploying streetlight-powered 5G small cells
“… one of the biggest challenges in deploying new network infrastructure is the time it takes to acquire sites, engineer designs and secure permits, noting that it can often take between 12 to 18 months to get a new site installed.
By incorporating 5G radios into streetlights operators can significantly reduce that time. Streetlights already have electricity and they are often in close proximity to fiber for backhaul. Plus, they are the perfect height for a small cell because they are typically 8 to 10 meters high and they are spaced about 50 meters apart. In addition, most streetlights have a common electric socket, known as the ANSI C136 (or NEMA) socket.”

3) This is very bizarre and perhaps indicative of Telus meeting resistance to 5G. Telus is asking for a customer support of their money-making spread of 5G by signing a petition to an MP asking the MP to ensure Telus gets its share of 5G spectrum. Read the letter you’re being asked to sign.

4) Below is another fabulous letter by Marcus Schluschen to the Qualicum Beach City Council. In most cases, I suspect, the telecom is not forthcoming with true and accurate information. If it were, more people would refuse to allow a cell tower to be put on land near their homes, schools, hospitals, etc. And, I bet, more people would refuse to accept money for leasing property to a company that conducts business like this.

The medical document I referred to is called:

It is imperative, that all members of Council, familiarize themselves with this important medical document.
Unfortunately, Telus’s lobbyist, Brian Gregg, failed to provide you, the Council of Qualicum Beach, as well as the residents, the opportunity to learn about the many serious health implications, as outlined in this medical paper, which was published in 2016.
In the absence of full public disclosure of health related issues, arising from biologically active, pulsed, microwave radiation, emitted by the proposed Telus cell tower, there is NO INFORMED CONSENT by Council, nor residents of Qualicum Beach.
In my profession as a certified, EMF consultant, who has spoken to hundreds of people, I have yet to meet anyone who is knowledgeable regarding the biological health effects of RF microwave radiation, as it is invisible like a virus.
Once they learn, that humans and all life interacts at minute frequencies, as well as tiny electrical signals, they begin to understand, that our health will be negatively impacted by any increase in radiation levels.
In the EMF GUIDELINE you will learn not only about cancer, but also host of other health issues, from serious cardiac to neurological problems.

Around the publication time of the EMF GUIDE, the late, biophysicist, Prof. Dr. Martin Blank, revealed to the stunned HESA Committee, in a hearing in Ottawa, that the radiation department of Health Canada, was top loaded with engineers, but had not a single employee, with a medical nor biology degree, but yet, they feel qualified to make decisions which will impact peoples health.
In light of this, please consider that the authors of the EMF Medical Guide, are indeed medical professionals.
I also mentioned to you, that the WHO EMF Project, headed by electrical engineer, Emily VanDeventer, with close ties to the telecom industry, which the telecom industry like to refer to, is a different entity than the WHO International Agency for the Research on Cancer (IARC).

The IARC vets experts for conflicts of interest and industry ties and has classified RF radiation as a Class 2 B possible carcinogen, whereas the EMF Project (also under the WHO umbrella) is criticized for a lack of transparency and industry loyalty. See (Hardell 2017) published in the International Journal for Oncology with details on the industry ties of the WHO EMF Project.
I trust, once Council realizes, that you were not provided with these important medical facts, a cease and desist order should be considered against TELUS, until everyone is given the opportunity to learn about the grim downside of chronic cell tower radiation exposure. Like smoking, the health effects of microwave radiation is cumulative.
You would not be the first Council to order a stop, and even the removal of a cell tower, as town after town has done, after credible medical evidence surfaced. You are within your legal right to do so, as Mr. Gregg, withheld this important information from you, and the residents of Qualicum Beach.
