2) Of course the phrase “Right to a Healthy Environment” would be a great goal to achieve. Apparently, the significance of the manner in which that phrase is within the proposed amendments to the Canadian Environmental Protection Act (CEPA) is beneficial beyond the obvious meaning of the phrase. And that the related Bill is initiated in the Senate (rather than the House of Commons) is also significant.
Whether or not you support David Suzuki Foundation’s activities in general, the Foundation did do many years of work towards this goal, so perhaps you would like to use this letter tool that DSF has provided to make it easy for anyone to write to Canada’s Senators.
