1) The best video I’ve seen re. 5G interference with airplanes. Great explanation in great detail.
Why could 5G be Dangerous to Airplanes
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xaP6SMK5Qmo (12:31 min.)
2) Please see below in Letters that the people in Qualicum Beach continue their battle with their Council and with ISED. The protocol established by ISED re cell towers has not been followed and neither the Council nor ISED seems to care. The question is, why is there an ISED policy re. cell towers if it is not going to be applied? Another one is why is this Council apparently ignoring the pleas by so many of its residents when, clearly, the cell coverage in this area is more than adequate?
A very significant question has gone unanswered: what scientific evidence is there that cell towers are safe? There is none, so there will be no answer. We need to keep pushing this.
3) Also below is a letter by Katie Singer to her Mayor and Council regarding the fire hazards posed by 5G transmitters that are being put on public property along roads. An excellent question that we’ve asked and which, as with the smeters, has been ignored: Has a professional Electrical Engineer certified them to be safe?
Another issue we need to be pushing. Smeters were never certified by an independent EE so far as we know. BC Hydro responded that they didn’t need to certify their equipment if they didn’t want to and smeters are owned by BC Hydro, even though they are on our homes and paid for by our fees.

Please provide the scientific evidence, that cell towers are safe.
We are not interested in council’s, nor Telus’s “opinions”, but that you request to see real, independent science papers, on cell tower safety studies, which they have failed to produce during all this time.

URGENT!! CONFIRMATION OF RECEIPT REQUESTED.
We have found it very disturbing that Luke Sales and Mr. Fu, Western Region Manager, ISED, have not given credence and value to the 10 property owners residing under the cell tower radius, that they did not receive the proper notification from Brian Gregg of Sitepath Consulting (working for Telus).
This was to the 40 property owners under the cell tower within the radius. It appears you have a responsibility to investigate the method of mailouts, and we question very seriously that this has been done. You are relying only on Mr. Gregg, and not protecting the citizens of Qualicum Beach that would be living directly under this tower!
Your actions and decisions have led to 3 property owners under the cell tower radius to sell and move away, and another owner on the edge of this radius to sell as well. Think about what you are doing!! You are driving people away from their beloved homes!
Have you notified and communicated with these 10 property owners regarding the CPC regulations? Or are you “trusting” Mr. Gregg’s report? He is working for Telus, not for the citizens of Qualicum Beach. His report is biased. This is like the fox in the chicken coop!
As Mayor, Council and City Manager your responsibility is to care for we citizens, parents and children of Qualicum Beach and keep us safe? and that you have not thoroughly investigated the CPC process.
The claim of John Woods at Eaglecrest Res. Assoc. is they do not receive cell service.
But you know that Rogers has a cell tower located on Village Way, some 400 meters from the proposed cell tower (4th cell tower for Qualicum Beach)!! and the cell service is very good (we went to 12 locations to test). It was our understanding that there needs to be a working together of these towers and cell tower providers, therefore eliminating duplication and overarcing EMF radiation What about that?
We hope Mr. Mayor and Council you will search your hearts about what you are doing to the citizens of Canada, and especially our little town of 9,000 population, Qualicum Beach, that already has 3 cell towers! and the stress of covid over the last 2 years has caused extreme anxiety, a terrible time to be putting our citizens through these trials.
Please cancel this cell tower, and move it to a more suitable location.
Please take time to open up the PDF below and hear the people of Qualicum Beach through letters and petitions. You owe it to us.
Respectfully, and Christmas Blessings to you and your families,

After learning about a new franchise agreement between my city and a telecom corporation (for 5G cell sites on public rights-of-way), I sent the following letter.
For more info, visit www.OurWeb.tech. Please note that smart meters are also electrical equipment. To decrease their fire hazards, public utility commissions should also require professional engineers to evaluate and mitigate their fire hazards before they go live.

Dear Mayor and City Councilors:
I understand that the City is considering awarding NTS Communications, LLC, DBA Vexus Fiber a franchise to place telecom facilities on public-rights-of-way (PROWs) throughout the City.
Telecom facilities are electrical equipment. They pose fire hazards.
If the City issues Vexus Fiber a contract, will it require that state-licensed subject matter experts (professional engineers/PEs) evaluate each PROW for fire and collapse hazards AND certify that all hazards have been mitigated BEFORE new equipment is installed or goes live?
If not, why not?
In the event that a PROW with telecom gear does catch fire or collapse, will the contract clarify who will be liable: the City, Vexus Fiber, or the property owner?
If not, why not?
To view photos of cell sites that have caught fire or collapsed, please visit: www.OurWeb.tech/fires-and-collapses.
FYI, in April, 2021, Malibu, California enacted an ordinance that requires a professional engineer’s report that all hazards on new telecom installations have been mitigated before any permit is granted. Any municipality that prioritizes safety can enact an ordinance like this one, a protocol that reinforces the assumption that no electrical equipment—including cellular antennas, smart meters, Wi-Fi systems, solar arrays—is safe until it is proven safe. No permit is granted until a state-credentialed subject matter expert who holds a license and liability provides a sealed report showing that all hazards have been evaluated and mitigated.
Thank you for your attention to this crucial matter.
