1) What the Phonegate people are seeing as a major step backwards — allowing smart phones to be sold without accessories to encourage keeping phone away from the head. All of this at the same time the government is advising headsets to keep the phone away from the body. Apparently, Senator Chaize promoted this bill to reduce waste. The advice re. distance is something our government has never given and probably never will so long as the telecoms own Health Canada.

End of the obligation of smartphone manufacturers to provide a hands-free kit: an irresponsible decision!
“The bill of the LR senator, Patrick Chaize was adopted on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 by the French Parliament. It lifts the obligation of manufacturers to provide with their cell phones the means of protection in order to reduce exposure of the users’ head….
Indeed, this announcement is in total contradiction to the information campaign of the Ministry of Ecological Transition to reduce exposure to waves emitted by our cell phones. Called “Let’s adopt a responsible and reasonable use of our smartphones”, here is one of the 6 gestures to implement:
“The use of headsets (wired or wireless) or speakerphone allows keeping the phone at a distance from the body, and thus reduces exposure to waves;””

2) EMI (EMF interference) shielding is big business and is growing, but not to protect us or the environment but the very devices that are generating EMF. In fact this author says there’s no problem if we’re exposed.
EMI Shielding Technology: The Industries It Touches And Why You Should Care
“EMI shielding — using a barrier to reduce electromagnetic radiation within a space — plays a bigger role in our day-to-day lives and is utilized by more industries than you might expect. EMI shielding uses substances like copper, graphene, paint and even fabric to create a protective barrier around a device and nullify radiation. The market demand for EMI shielding technology is surging. A 2020 study found that the global EMI shielding market will grow from $6.2 billion in 2021 to $7.7 billion in 2026.”
3) This sounds odd, a scientist heading an investigative committee being interviewed by a Hollywood producer, but it might make for an interesting discussion about this expert panel and the Havana Syndrome. You must register to listen in.
The Mysteries of Havana Syndrome
“Multiple hypotheses have been proposed to explain these clinical cases, but evidence is lacking and nothing has been proven. Given this lack of clarity, the U.S. government asked the National Academies to convene an expert panel to review the scientific evidence in support of the possible causes and provide advice on how to proceed with the official investigation. Join us for an intriguing conversation between the chair of that committee, Dr. David Relman, and writer/executive producer David Grae, as they review what we know—and what we don’t—about the mysteries of Havana Syndrome.”

4) Some experts, such as Dr. Magda Havas, have said that exposure to EMF can cause reactions similar to accelerated aging.
‘Seized by some invisible hand’: What it feels like to have Havana Syndrome
“The way the doctor boiled it down for me … he said, ‘Well, it’s like you aged, you know, 20, 25 years all at once,’” said Husband, who was diagnosed with “acquired brain injury related to a directional phenomenon exposure.”
