1) Further to the item in last Saturday’s update

below is a map of the connected communities for the Connected Coast Project, the places where fiber optic cable will come to shore. The community leaders are responsible for the fiber being brought the last mile — to and into the homes. This website https://connected-communities.ca/ has a lot of information that can help encourage leaders to take control of the network, to have community-owned internet access via fiber optic cable. https://connected-communities.ca/ Now is the time to begin planning.

2) Insects will likely be affected more dramatically by the milliwave frequencies used by 5G than they have been by lower frequencies. The higher frequencies’ shorter wave lengths are comparable to an insect’s body, meaning the insect’s entire body will be exposed to EMF. This study shows the effects also could include heating which could promote this dangerous mosquito expanding its range from the tropics to cooler areas.
Radio-frequency exposure of the yellow fever mosquito (A. aegypti) from 2 to 240 GHz
“Fifth generation networks (5G) will be associated with a partial shift to higher carrier frequencies, including wavelengths of insects. This may lead to higher absorption of radio frequency (RF) electromagnetic fields (EMF) by insects and could cause dielectric heating. The yellow fever mosquito (Aedes aegypti), a vector for diseases such as yellow and dengue fever, favors warm climates. Being exposed to higher frequency RF EMFs causing possible dielectric heating, could have an influence on behavior, physiology and morphology, and could be a possible factor for introduction of the species in regions where the yellow fever mosquito normally does not appear….
For 120 GHz, this increase is even larger compared to 6 GHz, with a factor 21.8. Around this frequency, the maximum in RF EMF absorption was observed for all mosquitoes. In the future, the carrier frequency of telecommunication systems will also be higher than 6 GHz. This will be paired with higher absorption of EMF by yellow fever mosquitoes, which can cause dielectric heating and have an impact on behaviour, development and possibly spread of the insect.”

3) A Danish group which includes some scientists (https://www.landsindsamlingenmod5g.org/english) is suing its government for allowing 5G to be implemented throughout Denmark.
Legal Opinion on whether it would be in contravention of human rights and environmental law to establish the 5G-system in Denmark
“Rachel Santini, head of the scientist network the Danish Institute for Public Health, together with the Council for Health-Safe Telecommunications, the EHS-association, and the Danish Health Association May Day, have asked me to prepare a legal opinion on the above mentioned issue.
The legal opinion is based on the rules of law in the European Convention on Human Rights, the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, the EU directive on the conservation of natural habitats and of wild fauna and flora, the EU directive on the conservation of wild birds, on the precautionary principle as well as on the Bern- and Bonn-conventions on the protection of animals and plants.”
