2) The aviation industry is extremely concerned about the 5G grid on the ground being capable of interfering with important computer systems in the cockpit of a plane. The overlapping frequencies are scheduled to be activated by telecoms on Dec. 5. Like FCC’s concern about EMF, it says no “available evidence” shows there is anything to worry about. This is not reassuring. There is no mention about any possible interference from 5G signals from satellites. I wonder if this a possibility.

FAA plans warnings to pilots, airlines over new 5G threat to cockpit safety systems
The cockpit systems help planes land in poor weather, prevent crashes, and avoid mid-air collisions
“U.S. air-safety regulators are preparing to issue warnings to pilots and airlines about potential interference with key cockpit safety systems by a new 5G wireless service slated to go live as soon as early December, according to current and former government and aviation industry officials briefed on the matter…
The Federal Aviation Administration has been drafting a special bulletin and accompanying mandates that would say certain automated features used by pilots to help fly and land planes could be affected by wireless towers on the ground transmitting the new 5G signals, these officials said. The FAA actions aren’t expected to be directed at consumers’ use of cellphones.
The cockpit systems, commonplace in modern air travel, help planes land in poor weather, prevent crashes and avoid midair collisions. The FAA has determined that if commercial pilots aren’t able to use the features, that could lead to flight cancellations, delays or diversions in 46 of the country’s largest metropolitan areas where the towers are located, these officials said…
Officials at the Federal Communications Commission, which regulates commercial use of the airwaves, and the telecom industry have pushed back on the safety concerns, saying the available evidence doesn’t support the conclusion that 5G networks will interfere with aviation.”

4) Some really good news. The Connected Coast Project is starting and many remote communities along the BC Coast will be getting internet access via fiber optic cable. Hopefully, the DE (Dirty Electricity) from fiber conversion can be shielded to prevent EHS people from being made to suffer. Except for the DE, these communities will be getting internet that is much faster, able to carry more data, is more secure and is safer than any wireless can ever be.

““The start of construction is an exciting milestone for the Connected Coast Project,” said Brad Unger, chair of Strathcona Regional District Board. “Momentum is building. Rural and remote communities will soon have the same digital opportunities as urban centres. We are steps closer to benefiting from improved connectivity.”
The project is to run 3,400 km of fibre optic cable around Vancouver Island and up to Haida Gwaii. The $45.4 million project will help connect 139 communities, including 48 Indigenous communities to high quality internet.”
