1) 22nd letter to “Dear Greta”, this one by Miguel Coma. How the world has changed since his childhood — and not necessarily for the better.
From science fiction to reality
When childhood nostalgia turns into an engineer’s deepest concern by Miguel Coma
“Two decades ago, you became a telecommunications engineer and took your first job. You could not have imagined that I would now believe in regulated, sustainable use of technology. Like other engineers, you were trained to think that technologies are tested and proven safe before they are marketed. You were never exposed to technology’s impacts on health, biodiversity, climate and life itself. Becoming an engineer gave you dangerously incomplete knowledge of technology’s hazards. Your education in electrical engineering only covered risks of electrocution, fire, ionizing (e.g. nuclear) radiation, and non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation (EMR)’s thermal effects. No one showed you the thousands of scientific studies about EMR’s non-thermal effects on living creatures. No one discussed the extractions smelting, child labour, worker deaths, wars, habitat losses or terrible health problems that result in order to manufacture, operate and discard our electronic devices.”

2) A member sent this video which shows how China is using new technology to track their citizens. Uncontrolled use of invasive technology is very handy for authoritarian rule.

3) A chiropractor shares about his journey from thinking that it was just too inconvenient to go hard-wired to “taking the plunge”, soon realizing how much better he felt.
Radio Frequency Radiation and your Health: AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH:
“Just because a truth is inconvenient and will cause disruption to our accepted ways of life, unfortunately does not make it false. Radio frequency radiation exposure in my opinion and as evidenced by a large amount of research has a direct effect on our health….
I had heard about the potential dangers from cell phone signals and WiFi, but I told myself that this was the way of the world and it was impossible to avoid. I am sorry to say I felt overwhelmed and was afraid of the disruption it would cause in my life to know for sure.”

4) This is a demonstration of an electrical field going through a body. See an explanation of what is happening by Oram Miller in ‘Letters” .

This video shows an example of the “other EMF” that comes with portable devices, such as cell phones, tablets and laptops, when they are used with an Ethernet cable. That is, AC electric fields. You have heard me talk and write about this for some time.
This has nothing to do with the RF signals being transmitted by that cell phone he is holding in the MHz and GHz range. This is pure 120 Volt (or 240 Volt in Europe) AC electricity when you are charging a cell phone and holding and using the phone while it is charging. When you unplug the charging cord and walk more than six feet away from it and use the phone across the room on battery, you don’t get this particular type of EMF. You get plenty of RF energy into your brain, but not 60 Hz AC electric fields.
However, if you leave the charging cord plugged into the wall electrical outlet and draped across your bed or on your bedside table, you will sleep with a very high electric field source next to you through the night. Read about this in my AC Electric Field article on my website at https://createhealthyhomes.com/articles_electric_fields.php, accessed from my Articles on EMFs page, at https://createhealthyhomes.com/articles.php .
Where this also gets to be a problem is for those lucky people in the EMF community who have figured out how to get an adapter to connect an Ethernet cable into an iPhone or iPad, through the same Lightning port that you plug your charging cable into. That is, they plug in the Ethernet cable to get online while they put their iPhone or iPad in Airplane Mode to avoid RF energy (and hopefully don’t still have WiFi or Bluetooth on while the device is in Airplane Mode, which is possible).
The problem is, the Ethernet cable conveys this same electric field into the device, and therefore into your body that this person on the video measured with a simple voltage sensor. We can measure the same energy with a body voltage meter (https://www.aitsafe.com/go.htm?go=www.lessemf.com/unique.html&afid=51307&tm=90&im=#183).
Our solution is to use grounded, shielded Ethernet cables (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CJLEHPM/ref=as_sl_pc_qf_sp_asin_til?tag=createhealthy-20&linkCode=w00&linkId=6c26365cc333cc7e6bd6865bdc3a9bf0&creativeASIN=B00CJLEHPM), a Foinnex Lightning to Ethernet adapter (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B087WHHDWR/ref=as_sl_pc_qf_sp_asin_til?tag=createhealthy-20&linkCode=w00&linkId=7786c91439a8c2be1a49a440c6c843a0&creativeASIN=B087WHHDWR), and an Ethernet Grounding Adapter Kit from Electrahealth (https://www.electrahealth.com/Ethernet-grounding-adapter-kit_p_129.html?a_aid=om).
The trick is, you must use the Foinnex brand Lightning to Ethernet adapter and not a substitute, because most of them don’t have metal tabs on the sides of the Ethernet port on the adapter, and thus, grounding is not conveyed all the way to the iPhone or iPad that you are holding in your hand.
Even some adapters that I saw on Amazon that appeared to have metal tabs inside in the picture on the Amazon site, did not convey the grounding when I ordered and tested them with my body voltage meter. The grounding did not convey and the electric field level was high when I held the iPhone or iPad in my hand. I sent those adapters back to Amazon. Only the Foinnex model (and a more expensive Belken model) have the proper grounding.
