1) The lawsuits are coming, just as they did for tobacco. The telecoms have known that RF is dangerous. They have seen the studies, even paid for many of them, but hid them from their customers. They have demeaned and gas-lighted independent scientists, just as the tobacco industry did. People could choose to smoke or not, but we are exposed to RF without choice from the many cell towers, smeters, etc — so there will be more harmed by this toxin. It’s horrible that people are becoming ill and dying — but we need these lawsuits.

2) Libby Kelley sent this information about what is happening in Tucson, Arizona now that OTARD is allowing transmitters to be put on homes. Industry is knocking on doors in her neighbourhood. We must expect that it is likely industry will try to do this here.

3) Marg Friesen will be hosting the next “community action” meeting this coming Wednesday. It will be interesting for all to be able to discuss Safety Code 6, which says it pertains to those working at or visiting federally regulated sites. And, as we all know all too well, does not relate to non-thermal radiation, the type emitted by every wireless device, including cell towers.
Gather your questions because this is an opportunity for a good discussion about the problems faced when presenting to local Councils, politicians, school boards, etc. — their hands are tied because of SC 6. You must pre-register.

“Health Canada’s Safety Code 6 guidelines have been adopted by the federal department that regulates cell tower and small network antenna, cell phones and other radiofrequency emitting devices commercially available in Canada. In addition other jurisdictions e.g. school boards and provinces have adopted these guidelines as their “standards” even though they can set their own safer limits.
C4ST’s Marg Friesen and Frank Clegg will go over the main points of Safety Code 6 in terms a layperson can understand and they will lead a discussion on why it is outdated and not protective of Canadian’s health. Meeting is open to all.
