1) Health Canada’s and ISED’s websites have a lot of misleading, inaccurate, dated and just plain wrong information on them. When people care enough to seek information about wireless devices, they should be able to trust the authorities responsible for protecting them, but they can’t. C4ST has done a great job of “fact-checking” and refuting HC’s and ISED’s webpages. The same thing could be done with other authorities’ webpages, many of whom take info straight from Health Canada without doing any investigation on their own. Prime examples are the Cancer Society and our Provincial Health Officer.
I suggest you keep this document handy for refuting statements made by politicians in response to your letters, and perhaps including when writing to our Health Officers, the Health Minister, and Dr. Bonnie Henry.
C4ST Fact-checks Government of Canada Webpages Regarding Health Risks and Wireless Technologies
“Currently, the Government of Canada (GoC) provides assurances on its webpages that exposures to radiofrequency (RF) energy (=radiation) from 5G technologies and from everyday wireless devices such as cell phones and cell tower antennas are safe. Canadians for Safe Technology (C4ST) has fact‐checked some of these statements and found them to be inaccurate and misleading to the point of being “misinformation.””
2) Last May, C4ST circulated an Appeal [https://www.appel5gappeal.ca/] to the Government of Canada to halt the rollout of 5G and to use safe, reliable, faster, and more secure fiber optic cable. I shared this Appeal in several updates as well as C4ST’s request that it be sent to every MP. Some MPs responded, most didn’t, but those who did by and large indicated that they know little about 5G and even less about the dangers associated with EMR.

We’ve all received the form letters with either no response or a response filled with misinformation. It’s often hard to respond but C4ST has provided a lot of information and even some sample responses. It is up to us to educate our MPs because Health Canada sure won’t do it.

In this newsletter, there are some recent developments worth noting separately. One pertains to a neighbourhood pressing and pressing its Council to investigate health problems that residents began to experience after a cell tower was erected near homes. Finally the Health Department has been called on to investigate the situation. Hopefully, the investigation will be allowed to be complete and include independent scientific evidence and will not be hampered by FCC policies.
