1) A very technical paper that reports an association between exposure to even weak EMFs can increase sensitivities.

Our new findings may be associated with the finding that electromagnetic fields activate voltage-gated calcium ion channels; Pall has recently suggested that such activation may produce adverse effects [15, 16]. Interestingly, the close association between chemical sensitivity and electromagnetic factors was postulated earlier by both Monro and Smith [17, 18]. Smith has pointed out that it is very rarely the case that a patient who suffers from electrical hypersensitivity does not also have chemical sensitivities, and, in his words, “Even the exception may be just a case of inadequate chemical sensitivity diagnosis” [17, 19]. Meanwhile, Monro and Smith have demonstrated that there exists an absolute concordance between the neutralizing vaccines used in low-dose immunotherapy and electromagnetic fields [17, 18]. It should be noted that these electromagnetic field effects can occur with weak field strengths; increased field strength is not necessarily associated with a magnification of the effects”
2) Dr. Arazi and his “Phonegate” group are frustrated because the French government has done little or nothing as promised a year ago to address the major issues identified in studies 4-5 years, namely that more than 250 models of cell phones were tested and found to emit levels of RF above the SAR limit (2.0 W/kg) which exceeds the Safety Code 6 SAR of 1.6 W/kg.
So far, Health Canada and ISED have ignored these tests and phones that exceed SC 6 dramatically are still in use and are being sold to a public who believes the government is protecting them.

“A year ago, ANSES also wished to withdraw or update cell phones put on the market before June 2017. According to our estimate, more than 250 models are concerned by this request. A round table was to be organized by the Government with the manufacturers. In fact, we were able to discuss the subject at the very beginning of the year with the office of Agnès Pannier-Runacher, who was Secretary of State to the Minister of the Economy and Finance in the previous government. Nothing has been done since then. Why has nothing been done?”

The commitments made by the government were:
“In response, in a joint press release statement published October 25, 2019 the French ministries of Health, Ecology and Economy announced several proposals for action including:
France will ask the European Commission to strengthen the requirements applicable to new mobile phones placed on the market. As recommended by ANSES, the Government will request that the certification tests be carried out in contact with the device, and not at 5 mm as is currently the case.
ANFR will develop tools to inform consumers about the emissions of their phone and manufacturers recommended distance.
The Government will bring together the manufacturers to engage in a voluntary action to update the software of their models so they meet new emission test guidelines.
The Government also reminds users of the governments 6 recommended practices to adopt when using a mobile phone to reduce your exposure to radiofrequency radiation.”
3) A study has found that “Leakage”, “unintended radiation from a transmitter into an adjacent frequency band or channel,” can cause rather significant errors in forecasting weather, such as the amount of rain associated with severe storms. Some milliwave frequencies planned for the 5G grid are the concern because they could interfere with the weather sensors.

Rutgers researchers find increased use of 5G networks may create inaccurate weather forecasts
“A recent Rutgers study found that radiation “leakage” caused by the increased use of 5G wireless networks may lead to inaccurate weather forecasts….
“It was motivated by the series of controversial and sensational articles on how 5G networks and systems could disrupt satellite measurements of the weather, and impact weather forecasts,” said senior author Narayan Mandayam, distinguished professor and chair of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
Warnings regarding these potential effects were issued by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration and the U.S. Navy Meteorologists, Mandayam said.””
4) During this election period, we have an opportunity to get attention from our provincial politicians and those wishing to become one than after the election when, if experience holds, our emails and phone calls will be ignored. Smeters, Wi-Fi in schools, 5G outside our homes are all issues that most know little about but now is the time to try to get a commitment to learn and listen to our concerns. In a letter below is a request for help with these issues as well as with Health Canada and Safety Code 6. Health Canada is a Federal department and SC 6 is a federal guideline, but provincial MLAs have louder voices than we do. They could be helping us educate the Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Bonnie Henry, the future Minister of Health, BCCDC about the inadequacy of SC 6, the failure of Health Canada to ensure our safety, and that provinces can set their own guidelines. Provincial politicians do have the power and the duty to make our environment safer.

Hi Chris!
You represent our riding, but we haven’t heard the Greens make any effort to allow residents of BC to choose an analogue meter to replace the Smart Meters that put our lives in danger and could have killed us last September 2019. The Smart Meters rendered 3 of our bedrooms unsafe to sleep in, so I have been sleeping on a mat on the living room floor for over a year now. My husband, Nick, had a stroke 7 days after the Smart Meters were forced on our home and a second stroke 7 days after that. I experienced memory and cognitive dysfunction.
We begged BC Hydro, the NDP and Green Parties to help us to keep our analogue meters before the imposition. We begged for help after, and received no assistance from our government. Why bother to vote for parties that do not stand up for our rights to life, liberty and physical and psychological security of the person and safety and enjoyment of property? Being ignored and abandoned to fend for ourselves has left us with no trust in this form of government. It won’t be restored unless this unconscionable situation is rectified.
Furthermore, we want to hear that our government will take the steps necessary to have Health Canada Safety Code 6 updated to recognize the scientific studies that show that non-ionizing or non-thermal electromagnetic radiation (EMR emitted by Smart Meters, cell phones, cordless phones, Wi-Fi, household wiring, and various appliances) is biologically harmful, as is ionizing or thermal radiation (x-rays, gamma rays). If the Green Party does not make this an election issue, we all will face increased health problems, as happened with the tobacco industry promotion of smoking. Right now the proliferation of Wi-Fi in all public places and in many private homes puts all of us at risk. EMR weakens our immune systems. The rapid, untested roll-out of 5G, with micro cell towers and thousands of satellites, already being launched to spread 5G access all over the planet will increase the radiation. Prime Minister Trudeau announced that the Federal Government is increasing infrastructure spending by about $4 billion dollars to spread wireless access in all rural areas of Canada. Likely, because there is so much money to be made, governments are turning a blind eye, when informed citizens try to warn; or, politicians are ignorant and do not care to educate themselves. Will the Green Party be any different?
Will the Green Party make this issue known during this election? Our votes, including those of other people aware of the negative effects of EMR, are contingent upon this necessity.
