1) In Sept. 2019, the New York Times printed an “opinion piece” by William Broad which was filled with inaccuracies and misrepresentations. Several experts wrote to the NYT complaining about their irresponsible publishing of this article but as far as I know, no retraction was printed. But in Ireland, when the same article was printed in a major newspaper, charges were filed. And the Press Ombudsman has upheld a complaint. This wouldn’t happen in Canada or the USA, I fear. But we should try re. the recent articles re. 5G.

PRESS OMBUDSMAN UPHOLDS PROFESSOR TOM BUTLER’S COMPLAINT ON IRISH TIMES ARTICLE ON 5G
“The Press Ombudsman has upheld a complaint by Professor Tom Butler that The Irish Times breached Principle 1 (Truth and Accuracy) of the Code of Practice of the Press Council of Ireland.
On 5 September 2019 The Irish Times published online an article challenging concerns that there might be health risks associated with 5G technology. Est. 10,000 4G and 5G Small Cell Towers in NYC Despite Illness, Exposure Warnings, and Opposition
“In January of this year, New York City regulators authorized a number of infrastructure providers to install small cell equipment on traffic and streetlights, bus shelters, public toilets and information kiosks in a deal that spans a ten-year period. But NYC has actually been focused on deploying small cells for nearly a decade, making it a crystal ball of sorts for future network deployments in other cities.”
