1) Another amazing letter of complaint written by Eileen O’Connor and Susan Foster, addressing the article written by The Guardian in the UK. It is not surprising that this article, just like so many others e.g. Tricity News, makes the same false statements, claiming that there is no evidence of harm — NONE AT ALL!!. It’s as if the industry has written the articles. Perhaps it did. We need to find out if there is a similar “Editors’ Code” that applies to Canadian media.
“OPEN LETTER of Complaint to the Guardian from the EM Radiation Research Trust sent via email:
For the attention of the Independent Press Standards Organisation (IPSO), the Guardian Readers’ Editor Elisabeth Ribbans, Technology Editor Alex Hern, and other interested parties.
Complaint against the Guardian Articles on 5G with the headline: “5G confirmed safe by radiation watchdog: No scientific evidence that technology poses threat to human health, say experts”
https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2020/mar/12/5g-safe-radiation-watchdog-health
The Guardian is in breach with the Editors’ Code in dealing with responsible, balanced reporting containing truth and accuracy. Radiation Research Trust Director Eileen O’Connor and U.S. Adviser, Radiation Research Trust Susan Foster are calling on the Independent Press Standards Organisation (IPSO) to handle this complaint and to conduct an investigation into the conduct of Mr. Alex Hern and into the editorial standards and compliance.”

2) An excellent article in the New Republic by Christoper Ketcham who, over the years, has written other articles raising questions about the safety of cell phones; for example:

3) In last night‘s update, I shared a very biased article in TriCity News [3) – https://stopsmartmetersbc.com/2020-05-07-petition-re-cell-towers-mocked-by-media/] that was filled with false statements about the petition that Mr. Ron McKinnon, MP is sponsoring. May I suggest that we, and especially his constituents, write to Mr. McKinnon and thank him for his support and encourage him to do what he can to bring it to the attention of Parliament:
He is Chair of HESA, the committee which has oversight of Health Canada. Health Canada has yet to implement any of the recommendations made in 2010 and 2015. Perhaps he might revive them.
4) I have been asked by several people to share this petition.
