1) As a follow-up to the material re. Li-Fi in the 2020-02-03 update [1) – https://stopsmartmetersbc.com/2020-02-03-could-li-fi-replace-5g/], below is more on the use of Li-Fi as a means of communication that could reduce the increase in EMR with 5G. I am still searching for studies that show that Li-Fi is safe and that the health effects that are known to exist, e.g. blue light affecting eyes and reducing melatonin production, can be avoided. As I find more information on this new technology (again they are calling Li-Fi the 5th generation), I will continue to share.
There is a lot of interesting information in this article the describes why 5G is problematic. Here is an admission that is truly scary:
“The resulting interference can significantly diminish data rates and may cause a major problem in cellular networks [4]. Therefore, WiFi access points have been mounted under the seats in stadia to use the human body as an attenuator for the RF signals and to avoid line-of-sight interference links.”
LiFi is a paradigm-shifting 5G technology
“In this paper we will first explain what Light-Fidelity (LiFi) is and argue that it is a 5th Generation (5G) technology. Peak transmission speeds of 8 Gbps from a single light source have been demonstrated, and complete cellular networks based on LiFi have been created. We will discuss numerous misconceptions and illustrate the potential impact this technology can have across a number of existing and emerging industries. We also discuss new applications which LiFi can unlock in the future.”

2) To better understand fiber optic cable and the possibilities it offers, I highly recommend a website developed by Oona McOuat:

3) An excellent short YouTube made by someone who is working on the 5G grid. He explains simply and clearly how the microcells, antennae and beam-forming work.

4) One of our members has asked several experts for letters re. 5G/EMR that could be submitted to Penticton City Council. Here is an excellent one from Dr. Paul Heroux.
