1) No evidence to confirm EMR is the cause for this rise, but carrying cell phones in pockets has been shown to be very dangerous. Reproductive organs are especially vulnerable. Why isn’t this even being considered as a possible reason for this increase in “men as young as 17”?

2) 3 deaths (one certain/others sound like) suicides of ambulance workers in the East of England Ambulance service where, not long ago, 5G “smart” ambulances were put into service. Imagine being in a metal cage with these transmitters emitting highly pulsed signals all day.
Apparently, there were other problems in this service (see whistleblower) which might have caused stress. Many studies have shown that EMR can cause/exacerbate depression. Is this related or just a very sad coincidence?

4) In the Nov. 17 newsletter, there was a request from a member for us to help her in her effort to make the schools safer for children. https://stopsmartmetersbc.com/2019-11-17-why-is-our-govt-silent-re-cellphones/ Why are so many places removing cell phones (and other wireless devices) from schools but our Minister of Education will not explain why no consideration is being given to following the lead of Ontario, for example. She asked if we would write or send the template she provided.

Dear Min. Fleming,
I would like to inform you about a topic which, I am sure, will concern you. Cellphones. Especially cellphones used by children and cellphones used by children in schools.
A recent study done in France was performed on 450 of the most common and popular cellphones and found that 90% of them emitted higher levels of microwave radiation than is allowed by guidelines such as Safety Code 6. https://www.phonegatealert.org/en/press-release-the-flaws-in-the-control-of-mobile-phones-by-european-and-international-authorities
Dr. Om Gandhi, a professor and world renowned electrical engineer, confirmed the results and reported that some exceeded the allowed limits of the US and Canada by as much as 11 times when placed next to the head or placed in a pocket. https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/stamp/stamp.jsp?tp=&arnumber=8688629

Unfortunately, when I asked for their stance regarding this new information, Health Canada and ISED responded that they are satisfied with the standards set by industry and have no intention of recalling phones or even advising the public.
Children are allowed to carry and use cellphones in schools. Not only do teachers report them to distract from learning, but many studies over the last 20 years have shown that microwave radiation can cause serious biological effects, especially for children due to their smaller size and developing bodies. Some of these effects can cause harm for the rest of their lives. Recent studies have shown that radiation even at very low levels, mere fractions of those allowed by Health Canada, can result in serious damages, e.g. to DNA and neurological systems (among others).
Many places from France to Ontario to California (see attachment – https://stopsmartmetersbc.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/List-of-School-Bans-re-Cell-Phones-Ontario-to-ban-cellphones-in-classrooms-next-school-year-1.pdf) are banning cellphones both to enhance learning and to protect the health of children.
We cannot wait for Health Canada to do what is needed — more importantly our children and grandchildren must not have to. On behalf of many concerned British Columbians I am asking you, as the person with ultimate authority over education, to take action now. Telecoms, who are self-monitoring, are disregarding guidelines. Cellphones are not needed in the classroom, teachers should be allowed to teach without this distraction, and our children deserve to learn without their health being jeopardized. Please pass policies which remove cellphones from Canadian schools.
