2) A very disturbing article about the increase in depression and suicides in children. Doctors are searching for causes, but this article gives no mention to exposure to wireless radiation which has been shown to cause serious neurological problems.

Why Are 10-Year-Olds Killing Themselves?
“The fact is that suicide has become the second leading cause of death across the entire 10-24 age group. Since 2007, according to the CDC report, suicides among 15-19 year-olds have increased by 76%; rates are also accelerating among 20-24 year-olds. For these two age groups, the suicide rate now exceeds the homicide rate. Nonetheless, while suicide at any age is tragic, a psychologist at Emory University (CDC’s neighbor) told NPR that she was particularly disturbed “to see a significant increase in very young people as young as age 10.” What is equally disturbing is that experts are at a loss to explain the suicide spike in the very youngest.”

3) Below in Letters is a stream of emails to and from the BC Health Minister’s Office. As usual, Tim Lambert has provided one of his letters filled with incorrect/misleading statements that fail to address the issue that credible scientific studies show harm from exposure to levels of microwave radiation far below that allowed by Health Canada’s totally inadequate Safety Code 6. The assertion that there are experts in the provincial health department or BCCDC is untrue. No one in these departments has experience or education in the relevant subjects, including Tim Lambert. And where are all of these studies showing that Wi-Fi, smart meters, cell phones, etc. are safe?
I intend to write to him and Adrian Dix <HLTH.Minister@gov.bc.ca> and I hope many of you will, too. The people of BC deserve to know the truth and they are not getting it via letters or on the various websites from our health officers or minister.

Mr. Lambert.
I appreciate your lengthy response.
However it proves my case that the Dept. of Health is egregiously out of date and unknowledgeable on this latest case. Health Canada’s Safety Code 6 is sadly lacking and the reasons why are extremely clear to anyone who has taken the effort to do minimal research. Your Provincial Health Officer is not knowledgeable on this issue so that her judgment is incompetent and simply parroting Health Canada’s outdated policies.
The Horgan govt. has been excellent in taking a leadership role in Canada by establishing and implementing policy to rectify the dirty money laundering problem. Why can’t the Health Dept. take analogous action on protecting British Columbians from EMF?
You are letting the people of BC down.

Dear X
Thank you for your email of October 28, 2019, to the Honourable Adrian Dix, Minister of Health, regarding your concerns with electromagnetic radiation and 5G wireless technology. I appreciate that you took the time to write and I am responding on the Minister’s behalf.
Safe technology for Canadians is of high importance to federal and provincial health agencies. The Ministry of Health relies on the expertise of the British Columbia Centre for Disease Control, the Provincial Health Officer, and Health Canada when determining acceptable levels of electromagnetic radiation emitted by wireless devices.
Health Canada administers the Radiation Emitting Devices Act, which governs the sale, lease and importation of radiation emitting devices. Additionally, all installed broadcast and telecommunication antennas and transmitters are subject to Industry Canada requirements regarding techniques to evaluate radiofrequency exposure and compliance.
Health Canada has a mandate to carry out research into possible human effects, monitor scientific literature, and develop recommended human health exposure guidelines. Safety Code 6, as set out by Health Canada, establishes safety limits for human exposure to electromagnetic fields. The exposure limits in Safety Code 6 are in accord with the recommendations of the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP), which have been adopted by the United Kingdom, Europe, and most other countries outside of Canada and the United States.
The exposure limits specified in Safety Code 6 have been established by a thorough evaluation of the scientific literature, using a weight-of-evidence approach. This approach involves examination of all the evidence on a topic in a systematic manner, where the study design and methods are critically reviewed to assess if and how chance, bias, and confounding issues may have affected the results. This approach attributes more weight to high quality studies (using a ranking system) and ensures that studies with a given result are not selected out from the published literature to support or suppress a preconceived idea of an adverse health effect.
Safety Code 6 is designed to protect all age groups, including children and the elderly on a continuous basis, and considers cumulative exposure to electromagnetic fields. Safety margins have been incorporated into the exposure limits to ensure that worst-case exposures remain far below the threshold for harm, even if exposure occurs daily over a lifetime. The exposure limits in Safety Code 6 also consider total exposure from all sources of energy in the radiofrequency (RF) spectrum. More information about how Safety Code 6 protects the health and safety of Canadians can be found at Fact Sheet – What is Safety Code 6. While Safety Code 6 is a guideline, its application is a legislated requirement of several regulatory frameworks including the Canada Labour Code, Canadian Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, Radiocommunication Act, and WorkSafeBC Policy.
Wi-Fi computer networks, such as 5G wireless, are radiofrequency-based communication systems that incorporate one or more routers and several Wi-Fi enabled computer systems. The RF energy emitted by Wi-Fi systems is a type of non-ionizing radiation, some of which can be absorbed by the body. The amount of RF absorbed depends on how close the body is to a Wi-Fi enabled device and the strength of the signal. Wi-Fi systems are categorized as low-power devices and in general the exposure to RF from Wi-Fi systems are much lower than the exposure to RF from cell phones. This is due to several factors such as the low power of routers (less than 0.1 W) and laptops (less than 0.03 W), the small fraction of time RF is transmitted from Wi-Fi systems, and the greater distance of people from those RF sources. Wi-Fi equipment in all areas accessible to the public in Canada are required to meet the RF exposure limits specified in Safety Code 6.
In 2011, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) classified radiofrequency electromagnetic fields as ‘Class 2b – Possibly Carcinogenic to Humans’. This indicates the evidence is far from conclusive and more research is needed to clarify the possible link to cancer. Current scientific evidence supports the assertion that if RF electromagnetic field levels remain below the exposure limits outlined in Safety Code 6, there is no danger to the public.
Protection of public health is a priority for this government and the Ministry of Health. We aim to apply the most up-to-date research to inform decision making. The evidence currently concludes that the RF radiation emitted from Wi-Fi (and 5G wireless networks) does not pose a risk to public health.
I appreciate the amount of time you have spent researching this topic. I thank you again for your letter and providing me with an opportunity to respond with the above information.
Sincerely,
Tim Lambert

Subject: 5G and EMF
Dear Minister
As Minister of Health your duty is to protect the health of British Columbians.
I am appalled at your Ministry’s lack of involvement in the issue of 5G and EMF.
Why are you MIA?
One of the oldest and most credible scientific magazines has issues a SEVERE WARNING re 5G. Is anyone in the Health Ministry paying attention and do you care?
X
SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN, THE OLDEST US MONTHLY MAGAZINE, ISSUES SEVERE WARNING ON 5G
“In a recently published article entitled, We Have No Reason to Believe 5G is Safe, Scientific American (SciAm) magazine issued a stern warning about the known and potential dangers of 5G technology.
Of particular significance is the fact that SciAm is the oldest continuously published monthly magazine in the United States, founded by inventor and publisher Rufus M. Porter in 1845, and running monthly since 1921. It is a highly influential publication, widely reputed for its rigorous scientific standards, and lauded by today’s fact-checkers as highly credible and staunchly pro-science….
Cracks are showing in the government and telecom industry’s blanket assertion that 5G is safe, and many prominent and influential scientists, dignitaries, and organizations are now speaking out against 5G – the global human experiment without consent. For the editorial board of Scientific American to run a piece this condemning 5G is a very strong signal that even the most mainstream elements of the scientific community are genuinely concerned.”
