1) Now is the time we need your help!
The flyers and posters for the Victoria event with Dr. Pall and Dr. Schoechle are here and ready to be circulated. I am asking those of you who live in the Victoria area to print off a few and put some in places where people will see them. Places like libraries, rec centers, health food stores, exercise clubs, churches, community boards. There are markets this weekend and these are great places to hand flyers out. We are eager to invite people who don’t know about EMR and 5G but should.
Please encourage your mayors and councillors to attend. They do have power to help prevent the spread of 5G — they need to know what they can do. [http://www.civicinfo.bc.ca/people]

2) Introducing a new website and a new concept — safeG. Introduce, reinforce and use new terminology so people will realize there is a safer, better option to wireless 5G. Please see the introductory letter from Kate Kheel below and visit the new website: www.safeg.net .
3) Bees, other insects and pollinators are subject to harm from RF — their ability to navigate is interfered with, for example. But 5G milliwaves are far more dangerous because of the shortness of the waves. Here is a great flyer from colleagues in California who are asking us to share.

4) With many thousands of studies showing exposure to RF/EMF causes harm, it is bewildering that we are still having to fight this fight to protect our homes, schools and hospitals. Whether it’s for convenience or profit, there is no justification for this continued proliferation. CREST justifies because more towers will mean better emergency communication. Have the agencies proven that 3 towers and transmitters are needed within the very small area that comprises Salt Spring Island? Each transmitter’s signals can go for many miles. FM transmitter’s signals can be received up to 40 miles away when driving a car — Salt Spring is 17 miles by 14 miles.

To All Who Care Deeply About Humanity, Wildlife, the Earth, and Our Collective Future:
It is with a heart full of prayer, excitement, and admittedly a bit of trepidation that we launch SafeG, a project we have been working on for quite a while.
SafeG was conceived to be a tool we can use when facing the unfettered and utterly unconscionable wireless “wild west” that is invading our planet and hijacking our minds and hearts. SafeG calls for a safe and sane path into the future.

We are asking people to share the concept, name, and website for SafeG with your 5G/smart meter/EMF email lists. We have attached below a sample SafeG announcement blast that you can use as is, modified or just take excerpts to suit your specific audience (or write your own). Anything works. The goal is just to get SafeG into our working lexicon and into the minds and hearts of everyone around the globe.
An Overview of SafeG:
SafeG is not as a single product or service, but a framework for an internet and telecommunications system that we define as follows:
SafeG means safe, fast, reliable, secure internet and telecommunications services brought into our homes and businesses by wired technology. It means technology that safeguards our health, privacy and security and that evolves over time with the goal of reducing exposure to harmful wireless radiation.
We believe that if we all use the name SafeG in discussions with friends, colleagues, elected officials, the media, on documents and websites, the name and idea will propagate and change the conversation around 5G. Essentially, we will have a shorthand way of saying what we are for that necessarily brings into question the health and safety of 5G. The question before the public will then be, “Do you want 5G or SafeG?”
SafeG means both an informed public and choice. 5G means an uninformed public with no choice and no voice. Although we obviously encourage wired technology at the premises, if after being informed about the harms of wireless someone still wants to take chances with their health, SafeG would allow for that, but NOT if that choice involves forced exposure to others.
Situations will inevitably arise where safety and choice appear mutually exclusive. SafeG does not offer answers for such situations, but rather provides a framework where health is prioritized over corporate profits, recreation, and personal choice. Industry will develop better solutions for such situations if that is what we are calling for by name – SafeG.
Consumers will drive innovation through demand for safe wired technologies ─ innovation that will make our internet and telecommunications services safer, more convenient, more secure and more energy-efficient. That demand will incentivize manufacturers and service providers to create ever more innovative, convenient, and safe wired services and devices for homes, shops, businesses, and even public spaces.
SafeG holds the possibility of uniting 5G opposition groups worldwide, and we believe it will resonate with the still largely uninformed public. We have purposely kept the language and explanations on the SafeG website simple, clear, and user friendly so that just about anyone can understand.
By uniting around the name SafeG, we can create a new conversation about the future of internet and telecommunications services ─ a conversation that embraces advances in technology while prioritizing health, privacy and security, and safe-guarding our right to choose what is best for ourselves and our communities. The more we ask for this outcome by name ─ that is, by the name SafeG ─ the more likely it is to become a reality.
