1) Protests to plans for 5G are building in Switzerland, with a huge rally last Friday. According to this article, 54% of Swiss population believe 5G could be harmful, far higher than in Canada.

2) In Saturday‘s Times Colonist there was a major front page article about CREST and how it will be spread throughout Victoria this year with 22 new towers!!
Fewer garbled calls, dead zones with new radio system, police say
“Police departments in Saanich, Victoria and Oak Bay were the first to switch from an analogue-digital VHF system to the new 700 MHz network in January. The new technology will be phased in across the region until the end of this year….
The addition of 22 new communications towers across the region means first responders will have broader radio coverage with better audio quality, said Gord Horth, CREST’s general manager.”
3) A news broadcast in Maryland in March about how people in that state are being educated about the dangers children face each school day from Wi-Fi. Why not fiber optic cable that has absolutely no wireless connections or pieces? Hard wired capability is faster, more efficient because it carries more data, it is harder to hack so it’s more secure, in the long run it’s cheaper and, most important, it doesn’t irradiate people in the vicinity.
Please consider organizing groups to educate parents, teachers, administrators and trustees in your district.

Dear Sharon,
You are extremely busy, so I don’t expect you to reply to this. Simply know that Martha and I agree strongly with the sentiments expressed in your letter to John Horgan. We were both members of the NDP; I was a very long-time member from Ontario. But we have both resigned from the BCNDP because we despise the government’s wrong-headed decisions regarding Site C, fracking, LNG, etc., and doing nothing about smeter removal or extortion charges.
Yes, the BCNDP have definitely accomplished some positive things: reducing MSP fees, job creation (according to the CBC’s news this morning). But a very sick environment envelops all of us; we cannot enjoy the abolition of MSP fees or more job creation in an environment as sick as this one is becoming. Just glance at a highway and count the logging trucks filled with formerly living trees, trees that produced oxygen and soaked up carbon dioxide.
Now we have no BC party for which to vote. The Green Party is closest to us, but they have persisted with a distant relationship. Sonia Furstenau is our MLA, but apart from articles published in our local paper, she answers no letters, maintaining distance between herself and her constituents. I have seen no reports from her office to constituents since her election.
Elizabeth May’s federal party feels closer to us. But when the next BC election comes around, I will probably abstain from voting—for the first time in decades.
That the BCNDP is asking for money from those whom they appear to despise really “takes the cake.” It’s like being punched in the stomach by a bully, then that bully asking politely for money to buy himself lunch.
No, no, no, no! Personally, I’ve had much xmore than enough from those who play the political “game” in BC.

No knowledgeable, sane person would ever allow an electric power utility to build an underground substation that, according to the President and COO’s public statement, will emit a magnetic field of at least 30 mG (to a maximum of 100 mG) in a downtown city park – – on top of which will be built an elementary school!
