1) Updated chart showing various opt out options and costs that I have found or have been sent is available at:
If anyone knows of any additions, errors or amendments, please let me know at: firstname.lastname@example.org with “opt out chart” on the subject line.
2) Health Canada is concerned about studies that show health risks associated with vaping. Great, but what about cell phones, Wi-Fi, RF studies?? Why is Health Canada ignoring this major health risk? I hope you will consider writing about this. [https://stopsmartmetersbc.com/contact/]
Below is a letter I sent to the Canadian Press. I believe letters should be sent to Maryse Durette but I have yet to find her email address. I have found this and will share her email address when I find it:
Maryse Durette works as Senior Media Relations Advisor for Health Canada.
Maryse can be reached at 613-946-6249.
Health Canada launches campaign to educate teens on the health risks of vaping
“Health Canada is ramping up efforts to warn young Canadians about the potential risks associated with vaping, the agency said Thursday.
Spokeswoman Maryse Durette said the government body has launched a multi-phase campaign to tackle what it sees as an increasing problem among youth…
Health Canada said much of the research around youth vaping is still in its early stages, adding it could not provide firm figures for Canadian vaping rates. But Durette said both unpublished research as well as international data paint an alarming picture.”

Subject: I understand you are not concerned
about EMF and radiation. Many people who are not physically affected in a negative way (dare I say yet?) feel the same way as you do. I am taking the liberty of forwarding this letter by Dr. Golomb to the California Governor Brown. It is very enlightening. Sadly I am, unlike you and many others, personally electro hyper sensitive. It is very limiting of where I can go, and what I can do.
The letter by Dr Golomb expresses the issues involved in this sensitivity better than I could do it, and from a professional point of view. Please do take the time to read it. I don’t think you can be the leader of the Green party and remain uninformed, because many scientists warn this is the budding epidemic of the 21st century!! Furthermore it affects all living things, in other words it has a broad environmental impact!

Dear Governor Brown,
I urge in the strongest terms that you veto California SB 649. If you sign this bill, many people will suffer greatly, and needlessly, as a direct result. This sounds like hyperbole. It is not.

Dear Sir or Madam,
I would appreciate it very much if you would forward this email to Michelle McQuigge, the reporter for this article.
Health Canada is doing its job re. vaping, but why does it refuse to react to the thousands of excellent, peer reviewed studies that show the dangers associated with wireless radiation? In 2011 the International Agency for Research on Cancer classified this radiation as a possible human carcinogen, the same as lead, DDT and many industrial chemicals, yet no warnings have been given to parents about the hazards posed to children using cell phones.
Last year 2 major 10 year, multi-million dollar studies reported a direct association between microwave radiation from cell phones, wifi, cell towers, smart meters, etc. and cancer as well as other serious health effects. As a result of these studies several hundred expert researchers are calling for the classification of wireless radiation to be increased to a positive human carcinogen, yet Health Canada remains silent.
I would like to ask Ms. McQuigge to find out why Health Canada considers vaping more of a hazard than cell phones, for example. Millions of children, even babies, hold and use these things for hours every day while parents are led to believe that there is no reason for caution.
Should Ms. McQuigge, or anyone else, wish to have more information, I will be very happy to provide it.
