1) The United Nations has been notified of the dangers of EMR, and has done nothing. In May 2018 a direct appeal was made by a staff member to the Secretary-General about the unsafe working conditions in the UN building. The Secretary General claims that such dangers are new to him – a physicist and electrical engineer who has a history that disputes his statement of ignorance. It does appear as if the telecom has influenced the UN as well as it has WHO, ICNIRP, and Health Canada.

3) A comment that was written on our website which makes points that many of us have forgotten. And, not surprisingly, has found yet evidence of another lie that Hydro has told us to justify smeters. Initially, BC Hydro and FortisBC justified their smeter programs by reporting unsupported amounts of dollars lost to theft of power by grow ops. The figures grew from relatively small amounts to much larger amounts as the costs of the program increased. Of course no one provided proof to support the claims that huge amounts were lost each year but from the beginning experts warned that it is easier to steal from and to hack a smeter than it is to hack an analog.
“I think part of your topics should include that the SM program was rolled out by politicians to stop the theft of power from illegal marijuana grow opts. But just in Dec 2018 in Squamish BC they busted an illegal grow opt (sic) that was stealing power. Another lie by BC hydro and politicians. The SM program was suppose (sic) to stop the theft of power. But slam me with a bill saying my analog meter is illegal, and meanwhile keep letting grow opts “steal” power and cost the consumer. As a medically disabled person John Horgan gave me a raise in income. Then he clawed it back with ICBC and BC Hydro. And in the end I had less income from the raise I got. Sounds about right, some are more equal on this animal farm. Soon they will ask for a raise in there pay and they will get, because they can’t seem to get by on a six figure income. LOL!!!”

4) Below in Letters is a stream of emails between a concerned grandmother who has been attempting to educate school trustees on the dangers of having Wi-Fi in schools and a couple of trustees. I have shared some of these before but include them again so you can see the negligence that is rampant . It is obvious that they do not wish to learn or that they have been told they cannot learn about Wi-Fi. The second trustee to respond, Jepsen, quotes verbatim the last response from the first. And the first, from Reichelt in her email at the very bottom, indicates a very limited knowledge of the issue, and the final one a lack of willingness to do her job.
I hope that you will consider writing to your school trustees, you can easily use some of the great info that Janis has written in so many of her emails. It’s time we became strong advocates for safe schools.

Parents, teachers and students are frustrated because we have contacted the Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Bonnie Henry, Ministry of Health, Mr. Adrian Dix, Ministry of Education, Mr. Rob Fleming, Premier, Mr. John Horgan, requesting an official response to the findings of the US National Toxicology Program Expert Panel who concluded that there is “Clear Evidence of Carcinogenic Activity” and the association of cancer in the heart and brain and cell phone radiation only to be ignored. This information warrants the solicitation of a current letter, re Wi-Fi safety from Dr. Bonnie Henry to ensure the latest peer reviewed studies and recommendations are being applied to make a sound decision regarding our children’s health and well-being.
All our letters, emails and requests for an appointment to discuss this important health issue have fallen on deaf ears.
The most current letter on file is dated July 2011, from our School Health Officer, Dr. Stanwick, who was unable to provide us with any peer-reviewed studies stating the safety of microwave radiation exposure. Dr. Stanwick instead has shifted “the responsibility for professional oversight” to the Provincial Health Officer. Dr. Stanwick, appears to have no educational background on the biological health effects of RF radiation exposure, yet has endorsed the installation of a known 2b carcinogen listed next to lead, DDT, methyl mercury, chloroform, and car exhaust as an acceptable risk in our schools. It’s 2019 and is Cancer an acceptable risk too?
The BC Government has failed to do their due diligence and take immediate action to mitigate the risk by informing the School Boards throughout the province of the established health risks associated with long term exposure to microwave radiation by recommending the use of hard wired connections to access the Internet in our schools. For as little as a one time cost of $500 US dollars every classroom would be provided with 40 Ethernet ports plus adapters for their wireless devices, costing about $20 per child, a small price to pay compared to brain surgery, chemotherapy, radiation treatments etc. http://octowired.com/

There has been no response from Dr. Bonnie Henry, Adrian Dix, Ministry of Health or Premier, John Horgan. They have refused to provide parents, teachers and students with a statement about the safety of wireless technology in our schools given the latest studies proving health risks from this exposure.
What you might find interesting is, Tim Singer from Health Canada responded to our letter concerning the radiation levels in our schools by stating, Health Canada is aware of concerns related to Wi-Fi in schools, such decisions are not within Health Canada’s mandate. We recommend that you continue to consult your local school board or provincial authority to discuss your concerns.
The BC Ministry of Education has stated they set educational standards, allocates funds and monitors student achievement but decisions regarding the planning and delivery of supports and services for all students are the responsibility of local boards of education and school district administrators. This includes decisions around exposure to RF frequencies and the use of WiFi in the classroom setting.
The responsibility has now been put on the shoulders of the School Boards and the BC Provincial Health Officer even though the BC Ministry of Education has been promoting the use of this technology in our schools.
I am sure you can see why we are so frustrated when we can’t even get an answer from our Premier, John Horgan.

One positive thing is that studies that have shown any increased risk of cancer from cell phones (most show not increase) have shown that risk being related to holding the phone to the ear to talk; in my experience, young people these days do the vast majority of their cell phone communication by texting rather than talking, which should minimize their risk.
