1) The Internet of Things is failing dramatically because it gathers our personal data and makes our privacy a commodity.

According to Cisco, There are 3 Reasons Why Almost 75% of Internet of Things (IoT) Projects Fail. So Why Are Taxpayer Dollars Still Being Spent to Connect Everything to It?
“The Internet of Things (IoT) is technology that can connect multiple Internet-enabled devices together in order to collect and exchange data.
For the last few years, countless security experts and tech experts have been referring to it as “The Internet of Shitty Things,” “The Internet of Vulnerable Things,” etc. because of the huge security risks associated with it and its current almost 75% failure rate.”
2) This article from 2010 is very interesting, giving some history about the warnings re. cell phones which go many years back. These warnings have proven to be right, as were the researchers who made them. Yet, nothing has changed.
Warning: Your Cell Phone May Be Hazardous to Your Health
“It’s hard to talk about the dangers of cell-phone radiation without sounding like a conspiracy theorist. This is especially true in the United States, where non-industry-funded studies are rare, where legislation protecting the wireless industry from legal challenges has long been in place, and where our lives have been so thoroughly integrated with wireless technology that to suggest it might be a problem—maybe, eventually, a very big public-health problem—is like saying our shoes might be killing us…
Though the scientific debate is heated and far from resolved, there are multiple reports, mostly out of Europe’s premier research institutions, of cell-phone and PDA use being linked to “brain aging,” brain damage, early-onset Alzheimer’s, senility, DNA damage, and even sperm die-offs (many men, after all, keep their cell phones in their pants pockets or attached at the hip). In September 2007, the European Union’s environmental watchdog, the European Environment Agency, warned that cell-phone technology “could lead to a health crisis similar to those caused by asbestos, smoking, and lead in petrol.””

3) Media in Canada, and the USA, are woefully negligent about informing their listeners and readers about the science that shows microwave radiation is dangerous, that the beloved wireless gadget could cause serious harm. One group is keeping tabs on US stations that are providing articles.
We need to put pressure on Canadian outlets to inform their “customers”. I don’t recall seeing one article about the 2 recent major studies, the NTP and the Ramazzini, regarding RF from cell phones and cell towers. If anyone has seen one, please send it to me at: dsnoble@shaw.ca .
Many U.S. News Stations Are Covering Cell Phone and WiFi Radiation Concerns. Are Yours? SaferEMR.com Provides Running List.
“Even though tech companies continue marketing their products to people of all ages, many local and national news stations have been airing segments about cell phone and wireless WiFi radiation exposure concerns for several years already.
Some Americans may have first become concerned only because celebrities and public figures like Dr. Oz, Dr. Jill Stein, Kourtney Kardashian, Suzanne Somers, and more have used their platforms to talk about this. Many documentaries have also been produced including Generation Zapped.
Dr. Joel Moskowitz of University of Berkley, CA is one of many American scientists who has also been trying to raise awareness. His SaferEMR.com website includes one page devoted to U.S. news stations airing segments about exposure concerns.”
