2) Many neighbourhoods have underground utilities, with no overhead wires or poles for microcells. In the US, the FCC is proposing allowing the transmitters to be put on private homes. In Canada, the ISED policy allows telecom antennae to be put on existing structures without having to get permits, notify neighbours, or get permission from anyone except the homeowner who would be paid. We must be aware of this being a real possibility in BC and across Canada — 5G antennae, perhaps phased array antennae, on our neighbour’s home.

You have attended the Telus cell tower presentation and for the uninformed, everything appears fine.
Unfortunately, the Telus lobbyists failed to inform the public that the information they provided in the handout is grossly OUTDATED, and does not meet the standards of current international research.
The document they provided is dated June 2011, with references as old as 2005, 2003, 1999, 1998, 1997!
Science has evolved considerably since then, and no self respecting researcher would use such grossly outdated data. Scientists refer to such practice as: ‘cherry picking’. This practice was used by big tobacco and the asbestos industry before them.
The Telus representatives also conveniently failed to disclose to the public that Telus is presently actively engaged in the rollout of 5G!
So when 5G comes to Gold River, powerful transmitters will be added and nobody can stop them, as their document to Council outlines that no consent will be required when they decide to add to the cell tower, or rent out space to other wireless providers.
