1) Here is an excellent flyer created by a UK group for EMF Awareness Day which was on June 11. I have asked for permission for us to use (with modifications). It would be a great handout at markets, schools, etc. If I get approval, I will let you know.

2) Has anyone had any luck getting responses from an MLA or MP? Most of us write to our representatives, those people who asked for our votes and promised to work for us, and get no response or perhaps a form letter. This letter was in the Black Press edition in Colwood on Friday re. Randall Garrison, who happens to be my MP. I, too, wrote to his office soon after he was elected and received the same sort of treatment as this person. I gave up. But I must admit that things are not much better on the provincial level with the NDP. I have written my MLA, Mitzi Dean, several emails about my Fire Report and never received any acknowledgement. Same thing with Premier Horgan, Claire Trevena (Minister in charge of the Fire Commissioner), Michelle Mungall (Minister in charge of BC Hydro), and the Green’s Sonia Furstenau. When the time comes when these people ask for donations or votes, we should remember how they disrespected us.
3) Telus has partnered with Huawei, a Chinese government-affiliated company that has been accused of cyber espionage, hacking, and attacks on infrastructures. Many countries’ intelligence agencies, including Canada’s, have advised their governments and utilities to ban Huawei. Not only is Telus promoting Huawei “smart”phones, but Huawei is making the transmitters being installed outside our homes in microcells which form the backbone of the 5G technology.
